"I prepaid for a room. Room wasn’t ready at check-in. We were told the lot was full and we had to figure something else out. Have a parking spot during a busy concert weekend is one of the reasons we picked to stay there. After the concert, waited 1.5 hours to get out of the garage we finally found a spot in. Went back to the hotel and was told they don’t have a room for us (supposedly because of a pipe issue, but more likely they overbooked). They offered us a room at another hotel that was 35...

"So despite its name, this is not a hotel. It is definitely a motel and that is how it should be filtered on Expedia. Parking was annoying- Expedia description states that there is a parking garage with which the motel has a relationship and this was not available on our visit so we had to find parking in a busy area. Also, a freight train line runs behind this property which is quite loud. There is also a bar nearby that is quite loud at night. On the plus side, the staff was friendly. ...

"It’s a beautiful property right in the heart of Charlottesville… easy access to campus and village restaurants and night life. It is a different feel not having a human to check in… no front desk… just a code and a room assignment."

"I found most of the reception staff to be helpful; however, my overall experience was disappointing. The check-in process was significantly delayed. I arrived around 1:30am after traveling, and unfortunately, the room keys did not work. Being unable to access my room for nearly an hour after a long journey was quite frustrating. I was also dissatisfied with the housekeeping. The service felt minimal—beds were made with what seemed like the same sheets, and surfaces were not wiped down. I...

"Very dated and needs property improvements "

"Make sure you ask for a room that has no odor coming from the new couch. Apparently they waited 6 months for delivery and they sat in boxes the entire time. I assume they must have gotten wet because ours smelled like dirty feet and the odor permeated throughout the room. "
