Villa surrounded by green olive trees in the heart of Salento. It is 5 minutes from Lecce, baroque city, 20 minutes from Gallipoli, 25 from Otranto and 10 minutes from both the Adriatic coast and the Ionian coast. Newly built villa, equipped with every comfort including: air conditioning, swimming pool, two bathrooms, a stove, a living room with fireplace and TV, three bedrooms, a covered veranda overlooking the pool and solarium with umbrella and sunbeds in wood. Quiet and peaceful, but only 500 meters from supermarkets and businesses in the nearest village.

Overall a Wonderful Stay

The property has beautiful and spacious outdoor living areas including a nice pool to enjoy. 2 of the bedrooms were very comfortable. The A/C in the hallway and in the upstairs bedroom and the living/kitchen areas worked well. Unfortunately there was no A/C in the lower bedroom however there was a ceiling fan. The kitchen was beautifully furnished and well equipped. Great house for 2 couples but not suitable for 3 couples. The 3rd bedroom is in an open mezzanine with a low ceiling, no privacy and no nearby bathroom. The area is semi-rural but central to visit Lecce and surrounding towns and area. A car is required. Hosts were helpful with recommendations and they were very prompt in responding to all inquiries. Overall a wonderful stay.

Beautiful house with amazing garden

**Our recent vacation in this beautiful villa was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the incredibly kind owners. Any questions we had during our stay were promptly answered.** The house itself was in perfect condition – impeccably clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The garden was definitely a highlight of our stay. The stunning pool, surrounded by beautiful olive trees and flowers, made us feel like we were in a private paradise. The garden is very well-maintained. The various terraces in the garden were perfect for relaxing, both during the day and in the evening. What we also greatly appreciated was the enormous amount of privacy this villa offered. The house is somewhat secluded, which means you need to drive everywhere. However, this was not a problem for us. The peace and quiet around the villa made us feel like we were truly away from the daily hustle and bustle.

peaceful haven with lovely gardens and pool

The property is gorgeous outside and workmanlike inside. Few issue with showers etc that were quickly fixed by the hosts who were very pleasant. We didn't find Lecce so interesting and were a bit far from good restaurants etc but only a short drive from very sand good beaches in Porto Cesare & rocky beaches / ports on the Adriatic side. A very restful stay and if you want a pool and garden focus, strongly recommend here. Weather was good even in first 2 weeks of October

Stay in Monteroni de Lecce

The owners were charming and very helpful sorting out problems (Wi-Fi, water pressure). Their approach to hosting was first class. Pictorially the property looked splendid and indeed the garden/pool were really nice. The house had shortcomings and if 6 were staying there wasn't enough seats for all, unless you used dining chairs. A little more thoughtfulness as to the accessories would go a long way - proper hangers for clothes, towel rails in the bathrooms to dry towels, waste bins in bathrooms, to only have 6 wine glasses, no larger drinking glasses (for soft drinks and beers). The Wi-Fi was a problem for us and we understood why but it was very frustrating not only with internet connections, phones but also television - this does need to be addressed. The property overall was very nice but the stay could be better if the above points got dealt with. We would rather finish our review on a high - Antonio and Francesca are so helpful and delightful people and we wish them well.

Mooie tuin, fijn huis

We zijn gastvrij ontvangen door de eigenaar en zijn gezin en bij vragen kregen we steeds heel snel adequate reactie. Het is een fijn huis met een enigszins karige keukenuitrusting, maar verder van alle gemakken voorzien. Enige minpunt was dat de wifi niet werkte (werd wel meteen door de eigenaar gemeld, zou opgelost worden, maar niet gelukt). Prachtige ommuurde tuin met lekker zwembad. Veel privacy. Directe omgeving niet bijzonder: ommuurde percelen, bar slechte wegen. Dorp met voldoende winkels op enkele minuten rijden. Zandstranden en een paar leuke plaatsen op ca. half uur rijden.

Oase der Entspannung und Erholung, top Domizil…

Sehr gepflegtes Feriendomizil, sauberes Pool, gepflegter grüner Garten und sehr viel Platz. Mit tollem Wein aus Apulien und frischem Obst (süß und frisch) wurden wir von den sehr netten Vermietern empfangen. Die Beschreibung mit Bildern zum Objekt spiegelt die tatsächliche Gegebenheit wieder. Schöne und ruhige Umgebung mit vielen Olivenbäumen. Alles Nötige wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gaststätten sind in verschiedenen Variationen und reichlich in der Nähe verfügbar. Das tolle Pool auf dem großen Grundstück entschädigt völlig die Distanz, von ca. 20Km, zum Meer. Der Poolbereich mit Außendusche ist sehr schön gestaltet und überall auf dem Grundstück gibt es schattige Plätze zum Liegen oder Sitzen, auch der Stellplatz fürs Auto ist beschattet. Im Haus gibt es eine schöne, große Küche direkt neben der geräumigen Terrasse und bildet den Mittelpunkt des Geschehens. Die beiden Schlafzimmer mit den Bädern sind räumlich gut getrennt, so dass die Privatsphäre gewahrt werden kann. Ein weiterer Bereich mit zwei Betten und das Wohnzimmer wurde von uns kaum genutzt, da wir nur zu Dritt unterwegs waren und uns hauptsächlich im Freien aufgehalten haben. Für Fragen und zur Unterstützung standen die Vermieter immer sofort zur Verfügung, hierfür und für den schönen Urlaub nochmals vielen Dank an Antonio mit Familie!
