Curl up with a good book by the fire and gaze out at the dreamy picturesque mountain and lake views..... Or ski, swim, hike and enjoy so much more that the Berkshires has to offer in this centrally located Southern Berkshire county home.

Private mountain top adventure awaits..

Centrally located in Southern Berkshire County: 10 minutes from Butternut ski, 15 minutes to Great Barrington, 20 minutes Stockbridge & Lenox and 2 ½ hours from NYC and Boston.

Great Room: Spacious open floor plan great for entertaining friends and family. Living room is furnished with 2 comfortable deep seated sofas, accent chair and 2 ottomans and 2 large coffee table’s, Relax and enjoy collection of movies on dvd players, listen to music on the stereo system or play games (we have a variety of board and card games).

Family room (downstairs) with large sectional and daybed for extra sleeping. There is a TV and dvd player.

Chef’s Kitchen: Stainless steel appliances, large island that seats 6 and dining table that seats six...

4 Bedrooms: 1 King size, 3 queen size all with luxury mattresses and bedding.

2 Bathrooms: Master bathroom (upstairs) features with shower and deep soaking tub.
*we are building an additional 3rd bathroom off the hallway, but for now the bathroom upstairs is in the master bedroom that is shared with the guest bedroom.

Screened sunroom nestled amongst the woods with beautiful views of the lake… Provides a comfortable setting to relax and includes a sectional sofa, chair & ottoman and table with 4 chairs to enjoy the outdoors.
Hammock’s, fire pit, hot tub and grill set up weather permitting…

NOTE:
Driveway: The house is located on the top of a long private gravel road, it gets snow plowed when the snow reaches 4” but it’s best to have a car that suitable in the snow.

We have updated home to include Central Heat & Air Conditioning Fall 2019.

Internet: Wifi throughout the home.

Movies & Cable TV:
2 Large Flat Screen TV’s equipped with Smart TV's and DVD players including premium’s like Netflix, HBO, SHOWTIME and STARS.

Stereo system with speakers is set up in the great room with record player and aux cord to hook your phone to play any music on your phone library.

There is also no house phone some cell phone providers work better than others.

We will be providing all our guests with our How to's, House Rules and an inventory list that each guest must read and email back with confirmation that they have read and understand.

No shoes in the house, the gravel sticks to the bottom and scratches the dark wood floors.

Gorgeous views and lovely home

This place was such a perfect home for a family vacation. The view from the place is incredible and there’s lovely outdoor spaces for people to eat and play outside. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything was very clean. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Long weekend with friends

The house is beautiful and very well equipped, the view breathtaking! Johanna is very pleasant to talk to and very responsive, she also provides a very helpful guide with instructions and recommendations. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing Weekend Getaway

My friends and I stayed here for a low key bachelorette weekend and it was absolutely amazing! The house was perfect for our group of 7 and the view was amazing. We went out to dinner at the Prairie Whale, went on a hike, enjoyed the hot tub, and chilled around the house. The house was well stocked and verg comfortable. When our weekend ended, we were talking about how we wish we could've stayed a week. Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect getaway for a girls weekend. The process was made very easy by the owners! The house was exactly as stated. We were told ahead that the driveway needed AWD, which was helpful to know. If you are looking for a quiet retreat in the Berkshires this was perfect.

Winter wonderland

Had a great stay in February 2023 with 6 friends for a lowkey bachelorette getaway for my sister. The house was really beautiful and well-decorated. The views are spectacular. The kitchen is large and beautiful; great for accommodating dinner for a group. Johanna was easy to communicate with and very responsive, before, during and after our stay. The house is closeby many of the cute town centers in the Berkshires, so we were able to easily visit Great Barrington and Lenox in our short time there. One thing to be aware of is that the hot tub and firepit may not be usable in the depths of winter. We had hopes of using the hot tub, but got a very cold weekend and the temp of the hot tub couldn't quite combat the cold (it was ~20-30 degrees Fahrenheit daily high each day we visited.) Overall we had a great weekend stay and would definitely return for a country getaway in any season.

Great, comfortable house with a fantastic view!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Johanna's property. The house was comfortable, plenty of space for more people if you want to bring more (we were 2). The location was good--not too far from Great Barrington or Lee. Quiet, peaceful area. We'd definitely stay here again. Johanna was very attentive and responded quickly.

What an escape

We had an absolutely amazing time at the property/house. The views are even better in person. I could sit for hours and just relax. We can’t wait to rent this house again. This house was above all we have rented in the Berkshire’s. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Private with Lovely Views

We had a great family reunion at Johanna's property! It's private, spacious, and the views are even better than pictured. We enjoyed playing games in the upstairs living area and had several happy hours around the fire pit in the evenings. I will say that the closest town (aka food) is about 20 minutes away (one-way). This wasn't a problem for us as we expected this and the views while driving were nice, but I think it's worth mentioning if you're not big on driving. Johanna was always quick to reply and helpful.

Fabulous getaway in the Berkshires

Located in a beautiful area overlooking a lake, the house was perfect for our family of 7 to have a wonderful summer vacation. Great hiking, lake activities, and towns to explore! Johanna was the best host ever!

stunning house and views

My family has stayed in a lot of rental houses over the years but this has to be one of the most beautiful places we’ve experienced. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated but the view of the lake was spectacular ! Johanna gave lost of info about the area and her response was within minutes. This was our first time to the Berkshires but definitely won’t be our last!

The house is immaculate and the view is absolutely beautiful. The host was responsive and attentive if anything came up and checked in on our stay. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the view!
