Live life on lake time when you book this 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom vacation rental house in the quaint town of Montello. Our beautiful spring fed lake is just steps out the back door. Your family will love relaxing by the firepit, roasting marshmallows, or taking the pedal boat out for a sunset cruise. Additionally, you will be minutes from charming restaurants and parks, ensuring you will never be bored during your stay! Fish, swim, and relax in our beautiful private lake.

The hosts were great to work with. The house was just perfect for our needs. The home was immaculate, beautifully furnished and decorated. We enjoyed the outdoors deck. The four season room was beautiful. We found such peace while staying here. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great, relaxing vacation

We really enjoyed our stay! The lake is small and easy to explore. The paddle boards are a blast! Caught a few nice bass and some panfish (released all). Checked out the field down the road and counted 23 deer one night with some huge bucks! The new patio's very nice and provides a great view of the lake. The 3 season room was a perfect spot for meals. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

College friends celebrate 62 years of friendship!

We gather yearly in various locations…perfect place and perfect time for relaxing, visiting, walking in the woods, and savoring sitting and enjoying the lake view! So clean and comfortable. Unique furnishings and well maintained. Yes we all loved being there! Had good meals at various restaurants in Montello too.

You need to tell people that there is a dumpster at the end of the driveway because you can't tell it's a green house in the dark. One of the sliding glass doors doesn't lock. The house is beautiful. Gas grill didn't work. Thanks for letting us stay.

Summer getaway

My two boys and I had a great time in the cabin and could not ask for a better stay. We had everything we could ask for in a clean, fresh and modern cabin. Boys loved the upstairs for chilling, movies and games in the evening. We enjoyed the lake for fishing and swimming during the day. The paddle pontoon is a hit, absolutely perfect for the lake. Its a quiet beautiful little lake with nice neighbours and great fishing.

Awesome Getaway!

We loved everything about the cabin. There's even enough kitchen supplies (pots, pans, plates, bowls, etc.) that we could enjoy our meals without compromise. The four seasons room is great for eating, reading, and playing games. Our 14 y/o absolutely loved it as well and has stated repeatedly how much he's going to miss being there.

Perfect, quiet, nature get away

The property was great, the lake was calm and perfect for our 2 boys to explore. They caught so many fish right of the dock and using the peddle boat. The nearby town was so cute. The ice glacier nature trail was beautiful. The property itself was cozy and had everything you need to be comfortable. I found a nice path to walk the dogs, so literally, everyone in our family had a great time.

Spent a week with the family. Place was clean and well kept. Our son loved the different options for things to do on the lake! Only downside was the beds, we had to go buy mattress toppers as the beds were incredibly firm. Even with that i found the couch to be softer, so ended up there all week.

Relaxing and Beautiful

Our hope was to find a place where we could stay at the property, read a book, play a game, watch TV, take a walk and enjoy a home cooked meal. This was the place. My wife and I have very demanding jobs which leave us very little time to relax. The long weekend we booked gave us both what we needed. Thank you for the beautiful and quiet surroundings. Love to come back in the summer.
