We stayed April 3–7and had a disappointing experience.
On arrival (6 PM), we waited 15–20 minutes to reach the host. Her teenage daughter let us in. Parking was an issue since two cars were already there, and we were told to “park anywhere.” The unit was much smaller than expected, had a strong unpleasant odor, and was not private as advertised. We were told no one else was on the property, but that wasn’t true. The host and other guest were on site
We had no direct water access and had to go through another area. The pool was “closed,” which was never mentioned in the listing.
The next morning at 7 AM, we were woken up and asked to move our car so the host could leave.
On our last day, we found out another unit was rented next to us, and those guests shared access to the dock, making it feel very non-private. We were also told we were too loud at 8 AM.
When trying to access the pool, the key snapped in the door, and we were charged heavy
Overall, this stay did not match the listing. It was not private, amenities were unavailable the times we wanted to use them and the area is not private, and the experience was not worth what we paid
If you do decide to stay here, I strongly recommend documenting everything (photos/videos), especially doors and handles, as some appear worn or affected by sea salt. The sliding door was also difficult to use.
I would not recommend this property if you’re looking to relax, have fun, or expect clean and private accommodations.
