Monteagle Cabin is a charming cabin with amazing views, a hot tub, and room for the family. We would love to host you as you enjoy all the outdoors that Monteagle Mountain has to offer, a concert at The Caverns, or just as you're passing through. The cabin sleeps 8. The back deck is the perfect place to relax and unwind, watch the sunset, and stargaze.

1000/10 Amazing hosts and property, home, hot tub; time! Loved my stay here so much. Firstly, I booked a few days here weeks back and then it lined up for right at the tail-end of the 2026 crazy ice storm, and yet the hosts were so so helpful, happily checking and confirming the status of the property, electricity and roads. They replied quickly, and are so thoughtful, accommodating and kind. I was super happy, after telling them I was just excited to never leave the hot tub once I was in it, that it was already heated up for me upon arrival. On top of that the home is gorgeous, clean, cozy, and has everything you could need. I would rebook and recommend this home or one from these hosts in a heart beat, so thankful for the rest and time I got here!

We enjoyed staying at the cabin with my family of 4 and my parents (in their 80s). We always appreciate properties with first floor bedrooms and bathroom for them, and the living area was roomy enough for all of us. The boys liked having the upstairs to themselves. We enjoyed the hot tub, cooking in the kitchen and with the grill, streaming movies, and watching the clouds, fog, and amazing sunsets off the deck. We enjoyed a short hike down to Foster Falls, and we recommend Mountain Goat Market and Papa Ron’s for food options close by. (If you are traveling with older adults, you may want to bring a suction cup bathmat for the bathtub to prevent any fall risks like we did. The gravel walkway was a little challenging, but with help my dad was able to navigate it ok).

Family of 4. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The view especially of the sunset is extraordinary. Everything was in good working order. Enough cooking utensils to accommodate any meals you might wish to prepare. Conveniently located near town yet far enough to feel remote. Highly recommend this cabin

Delightful home and great hot tub!

Stayed for a visit to Sewanee. Perfect location tucked away but a quick drive to campus! Spacious yet cozy. The hot tub was sooo nice. Will stay again.

A second great stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at this cute cabin while attending a concert at The Caverns. We are a group of friends who spent a few nights to explore hikes in the area and enjoy some down-time together. We love that the cabin is clean, well stocked, and those views! We hope to book again in the future!

Perfect Getaway!

Peaceful locale

8 adults fit comfortably for the weekend, and enjoyed lovely mountain view’s. We did some cooking and the kitchen was well-equipped. Only thing we couldn’t find was a cheese grater. Enjoyed the large porch and hot tub, as it was chilly in the morning and evenings. Used the fire pit both nights. Even though neighbors are close, it remained peaceful, with very minimal traffic. Would stay again!

Lovely cabin.

One of the best I have stayed in in the area. Spacious, very clean and well furnished with everything you could need on hand. Wonderful views and dramatic sunsets. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Cozy Home

The hosts were perfect and easy to communicate with! We celebrated a birthday with 7 ladies. We slept comfortably and had all the amenities and room necessary to enjoy our stay! The hot tub with the view was a bonus! Hope to return!
