  • ¿Busca una escapada tranquila con impresionantes vistas del lago Michigan? Acceso a playa privada. Escucha las olas justo afuera de tu puerta. Disfruta de estar justo en el agua. Relájate con familiares o amigos y crea recuerdos inolvidables. Toma el sol en la terraza con tu bebida favorita, o mira las estrellas en la noche asar malvaviscos sobre la fogata. Los niños pueden escalar las dunas para divertirse y hacer ejercicio. Realice largas caminatas por el hermoso camino comunitario de la playa. El cine y las tiendas están a solo unos minutos. También hay un increíble sendero para bicicletas en la ciudad con excelentes restaurantes y tiendas de todo tipo para experimentar. Uno de nuestros lugares favoritos y una joya local es The Book Nook, donde puede traer su computadora portátil y disfrutar de un café o una comida preparada a pedido. Esta es realmente una de esas gemas ocultas que muy pocos conocen. Nuestra intención es que tengas una experiencia de 5 estrellas. ¡El único inconveniente de alojarse en esta cabaña es que no querrás irte!

    Esta casa tiene capacidad para 8 personas (4 dormitorios y 2 baños).

    Camas y ropa de cama nuevas, parrilla nueva, pisos nuevos (abajo), baños nuevos y tocadores (abajo). Nuevos televisores (arriba y abajo). Nuevos muebles de patio. Nuevo sofá de arriba.

    * Línea de tierra disponible con larga distancia de cortesía (el servicio de telefonía celular es irregular, una milla más adelante está bien)

    Nivel superior = cocina completa, acogedora sala de estar, chimenea, terraza acristalada para disfrutar de comidas familiares, amplio baño amplio, 2 habitaciones cada una con camas queen.
    Nivel inferior = bueno para niños, habitación familiar grande, 1 habitación con cama queen, 1 habitación con 2 camas individuales, baño, lavadora y secadora. En la planta baja también refrigerador.

So relaxing to be right on the lake! Swimming, kayaking, beach walks, and the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep each night. Two living areas inside plus the large decks outside means plenty of space for everyone to be together or find a spot of their own. Well-stocked and clean.

Family Vacation

This home is just as described. Lots of space for family and the location on the lake can’t be beat! Perfect location for walks on the beach, paddle boarding and kayaks. We had a great time!

The Magic of Montague

We absolutely loved our stay at Dawn and Breck’s cottage on Lake Michigan! We all had an excellent time and was able to spend quality time with family and friends!! The night of meteor showers, northern lights, sunset and moon set was a special bonus! Thank you guys for sharing your awesome place!

Life is better at the lake!

Lost Valley is a hidden gem! From the calming sounds of the waves to the amazing sunsets and star gazing after dark, the cottage has everything you need to enjoy all the beauty Lake Michigan has to offer. Our family loved spending lazy afternoons on the large deck and taking dips in the lake from the cottage’s private beach. Thanks for sharing this slice of heaven!

Great Lake Property

The view is spectacular. The cottage is very clean, well stocked with essentials. Everything you need is included by the owners. They were very friendly communicating with a few questions we had. Otherwise, quiet community, amazing area, and peaceful vacation. Thank you for such a great time!

Family Vacation

There were eight adults. There was plenty of room for all. We spent the days outside on the deck and in the water. In the evenings, we sat around the table and played games. We enjoyed the fun and relaxation.

Hidden Gem!

I almost don't want to say anything about how beautiful it is along this stretch of Lake Michigan so people will not want to go there, but the fact is that it is amazing. It's hard to explain how magical it is there, really. The 'Lakefront Beach Resort' was retro, but not rundown, and very clean and well-appointed. The hosts even provided a thoughtful and delicious welcome basket. Just a short drive to Montague/Whitehall, and the Silver Lake Dunes, Muskegon, Pentwater, and Ludington are not too much farther away. Nice, reasonably priced golf course nearby, too. Just a heads up that when they say the cell service is rough, they absolutely mean it (Verizon). All in all, we'd highly recommend a stay!

Disappointing

The A/C was substandard. The house was smaller than anticipated. Main dining area was in the sunroom and cramped. The lower floor was musty smelling and the whole house was really dated. We had 7 adults and 1 infant. Beds were adequate and linens were clean. Access to the beach was treacherous as you have to climb over sea wall comprised of giant rocks. . Lastly, you only have access to maybe 25% of the beach. Pay close attention to the property line and understand your being watched on the beach camera. The area and nearby town was great, restaurants and grocery are close. One more thing, only 1 curbside trash can.

Amazing sunsets-Great louse layout

First, the home owners were super communicative up to and throughout our stay. There was a minor issue with one of the A/C units and they were right on top of it. Second, such a great layout for groups with lots of areas to spread out and the decks are beyond amazing! While the kitchen is small, it is decently stocked and having the second fridge and bar area in the lower area alleviated a lot of kitchen congestion. Great house! Beautiful sunsets!

Amazing property with unbelievable views of the lake. Dawn and Breck were fabulous to work with. Loved the house and all the retro touches! Can’t wait to come back!

Glorious views, Great House

Everything about our stay was awesome. Owners and neighbors were great, the house had so much to offer and was more than enough room for a family of 5. Multiple decks, screened porch, kayaks and paddle board, I and the access and views of Lake Michigan were unbeatable.

Peace and Quiet

If you’re looking for downtime, this is the place for you. Neighbors are friendly, and hosts will make sure you are taken care of. If there are any concerns, they will address it asap. They also provided us some great recommendations for bike trails.

Lake Michigan Gem

You can't get a more idyllic location. Updates throughout, while still maintaining the charm of vacation days past. So many places to hang out, but we just wanted to be out on the deck as much as possible! Sitting in a hammock watching a spectacular sun set is the best. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves is so relaxing. House is immaculately clean. Hosts are so welcoming. Beaches to walk to in both directions - loved climbing the dunes. A perfect summer getaway!

The Good Place

What a good place to gather with family after more than a year and half of separation due to the pandemic. My family came from CA, TX and VA to have a small reunion - just the 4 of us. Even though the August weather was not the best, it did not stop us from enjoying everything the Good Place has to offer. The Welcome basket with fruit, snacks and wine was greatly appreciated. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of space, hot water and towels. And so many windows from which to watch the storm dance across the Lake. The only complaint we had was that our stay was too short. We look forward to staying here again. Dawn and Breck are fabulous hosts who anticipate just about all of your needs. Thank you for helping us come together for what was a major life event.

Classic cottage

Great deck and views! This is a classic lake Michigan cottage-- nostalgic and retro but still comfortable and very clean. Appreciated being able to use the kayaks!

Great relaxing week

My family and I had a great time on vacation at the cabin. My son loved the sandbox and we utilized the paddle boards and kayaks many times throughout the week. Our favorite part was the sunsets on the decks. We all had plenty of space to relax and not feel like we were all on top of each other all week. We had great day trips to breweries, a dairy farm and petting zoo. Dawn was super helpful in her recommendations and very responsive! We would definitely come back!
