We had a great stay at Uma house! The staff is very nice, the rooms are clean and the rooftop is beautiful and a very nice place to hangout. The location is also perfect, almost everything is at a walking distance. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to visit Barcelona and be able to get around easily.

Great value in a central location Ciudad Condal is an affordable hotel in an excellent central location, just off Passeig de Gràcia. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance, and the hotel is also conveniently located near the metro and the train to the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping was excellent. The air conditioning worked particularly well — quiet and very effective. Despite the central location, there was no noticeable noise from the street. The main downside was the bathroom, which was quite small and basic. Sound insulation towards the hallway could also be better, although there was very little traffic in the corridors during the night, so this was not much of an issue in practice. Overall, a very good option if you are looking for an affordable, clean and centrally located hotel in Barcelona.

The hotel is a modern and new hotel. Clean. Staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious. However the pool is tiny! The photos are very misleading, the pool is the size of a hot tub. Do not book this hotel if you’re looking for a hotel with a view and pool on their rooftop. The food is not good either. I found that the chicken was not cleaned properly. The drinks are great! Rooms are clean and spacious. The most IMPORTANT thing is the safety/security issue. This hotel is in an up and coming neighborhood aka gentrification!! The neighborhood is very sketchy. You will be in the middle of the hood. We saw 1 block away a drug addict with needle tracks up and down his arm. A lot of people hanging outside the buildings. Rats and large roaches outside as well. At night walking back to the hotel can be very concerning and unsafe. The hotel has no security. If you are females or have young children I would not book here. Men it’s up to you if you feel safe as a group walking through this to get to the hotel.

I stayed here for 3 nights and no complains at all. It's also located at a place that made accessing most places very easy. There's two train stations nearby with major lines, one is a 5mins walk away and another one 9mins. Hence was very practical since I was solo travelling. Also the area was very safe. I left the hotel at like 6am one morning when it was still quite dark because I had booked for an early morning tour, the area was still quite busy with people around and I didn't feel unsafe travelling to the train station in the dark at all. There were also nights I got back to the hotel late and the streets felt very safe and still filled with other travellers, cars, buses etc. I think this is what really matters especially if you're solo travelling. I paid around 20 euros for the spa service one night and that was so worth it, the variety of facilities they have in there makes the experience quite enjoyable. I booked one spa circuit that lasted for 90 mins and there was so much to do that 90 mins went by in no time and I felt quite relaxed afterwords. I also paid for breakfast one day (I didn't book the package with breakfast included but you can always pay on spot). That was around 19 euros but also very worth in. Fresh food, a lot of variety in food and drinks, and a very nice environment. I also had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, I ordered the fish of the day, super flavourful and their sangrias (local wine drink) hit different, quite flavourful and strong. 10/10
