Come relax and have fun with the whole family in the stylish, cozy cottage. You will enjoy this spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath home with dedicated workspace.
We are conveniently located near many locally owned restaurants that you are sure to enjoy. We are 2.7 miles /10 minutes from ULM and about 5 minutes from Forsythe Park.
Enjoy a relaxing evening on the patio or lounge inside. Please note there are steps to get inside the home at 2 entrances. Please use caution, steps could be slippery when raining. Also, the front steps are short steps.

Awesome place to stay! It is the little things that make a place feel like home and this one has it. I love the velvet touches everywhere. Very clean! Big for a small house. My teens loved the little air hockey table. Nice quiet neighbor hood. Beds were so comfortable.

Good Weekend

We were here for a weekend basketball tournament, the property was very clean and had all the essentials we needed for our stay. We even had snacks waiting for us when we arrived. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re ever in Monroe.

Cute and clean!

Super cute, VERY clean property in a quiet neighborhood. Close to everything! Property manager is very attentive and responds quickly. Has just about everything you need in the kitchen (except bowls and wine glasses, lol) We came for a ballet intensive and will recommend this house to anyone that will be coming back here!

We had a wonderful stay! Hosts thought of everything (coffee, snacks, full length mirrors, books, makeup area, wifi, tv's in all rooms, games, etc) and most importantly it was extremely clean! Loved the vibe and decorations as well!

The Velvet Cottage was perfect!

Mary was great at communicating with us, the house was immaculate, lots of little touches like a mini snack bar and a few bottles of water in the fridge were a nice surprise when we got in late, we had plenty of linens for a family a 5 for the weekend, the kids loves the air hockey table and more! Our family will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Quiet, clean house close to everything!

We traveled to Monroe for our friend’s wedding and had a great time staying here. The neighborhood was close to everything and quiet. The house itself was very clean and had enough room for all of us. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting!

Great stay in Monroe

If you are traveling to Monroe, this is your home. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, is extremely comfortable, had all amenities you would need, and is located in a quiet neighborhood easily accessible to downtown, ULM, etc. Communication with the owners was excellent.
