Quiet charming home with lots of privacy, room to entertain and open floorplan. Close to many exciting attractions at Smith Mt. Lake and surrounding areas. Private back deck with grill for watching wildlife and getting away from the busy world. The area is full of activities- close to boating, swimming, golf, hiking, great restaurants, Booker T Washington birthplace, National D-Day Memorial, Martinsville Speedway, Annual Wine Festival, and much more.

House was clean and had plenty of towels. Nothing negative except it was listed as room for 10, but there were 4 bedrooms, so more suited for 8. Also, we didn't see a toaster which would have been nice. Overall a good experience.

Great time at Smith Mountain Lake

Very convenient for us, we had a large group staying at Bernard’s Landing and this was about 2 miles from there. We were able to spend time with them and rented a pontoon boat from Bernard’s Landing. Plenty of room, good condition and the covered deck came in handy during an unexpected thunderstorm.

Misleading

We were expecting a 4 bedroom house and garage. The listing showed a 4 bedroom and not a sofa bed. My closet in the bedroom we slept in was locked, and a key was needed to open it. We had to buy an air mattress so .my daughter better. Couldn't use garage it was locked

It was nice only complaint is I think it should say 3 bedrooms and one room with couch and no privacy you have to walk through there room to the bathroom and then you disturb them. Really it sleeps 6 comfortably! Then everyone has their own bedroom. I did sweep the floor and mop it that was dirty no big deal . But like the view not on lake you have to walk to it but it is nice and enjoyed the deck and watched the deer. Thank you for a good stay

Awesome!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your house! It is absolutely beautiful! My husband is a truck driver and he needed this break badly. He walked in an set down and it was almost like he let out a deep sigh. He has relaxed and rested and enjoyed this much needed vacation. Thank you so much!

Great house with lots of room!

House was easy to find and access. House had all the amenities provided such as linens and towels. Beds were comfortable. The location is what drew us as we were attending an event just up the road. House was well stocked. We only stayed for 2 nights but we enjoyed ourselves!

Celebrated my hubby's 70th birthday at SML this weekend. Beautiful, laid-back area. This house was very convenient, very clean, well-appointed. Comfy beds! Would rent again for sure. Thank you, Dawn and Karen! the Griffins

Very nice house but…

The house is beautiful but it wasn’t properly cleaned before we arrived. There was a cocoon of spiders overtop of the back door. The silver ware drawer had black droppings in the back. The bathroom floors had not been swept and the showers were not clean. One still had soap from the previous renter! The stool had a crack. The refrigerator had previous renters leftovers and was not cleaned. The coffee makers were nasty. The house was overall dusty which made it difficult to get comfortable. We left a day early. The house itself is beautiful and the location is nice but just need a better caretaker.

SML Wine Festival

The Lake Anna Winery festival crew enjoyed our stay quite a bit. It was wonderful being just a few minutes from the festival site. It was great sitting outside on the back porch after Saturday's rain.

Great weekend getaway!

This home near the lake was perfect for a quick weekend getaway! The home was clean, had all the amenities that we needed, and was close to lake activities, restaurants, and vineyards. Hosts were excellent in preparing the home and providing necessities. Would definitely stay here again!
