Excellent stay at ideally situated apartment.

The apartment is in a chateau very near to the old town of Roquebrune. It was very comfortable and notably has a wonderful terrace overlooking the coast and Monaco. We will certainly be visiting again. Many thanks.

Fantastic apartment with stunning views

An absolutely stunning apartment with amazing views of Monaco and the Mediterranean from the private balcony. Our housekeeper recommended dining at the restaurants in the medieval village - a 10 minute (uphill) walk up a path at the back gates. The food and the ambience at the restaurants was fantastic - we ate at 3 different place during our week! Thoroughly recommend!

Wonderful!

The condo was very clean and spacious. The patio looking out to Monaco was spectacular! Jonathan was very responsive with all our question. Mme Lafond was very helpful as well. We would definitely recommend you stay here. When we come back to the Cote D’Azur we will stay at Johnathan’s again for sure!

sehr gepflegte Wohnung mit gigantischem Blick

Die Wohnung ist ideal für zwei Personen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, der Blick von der Terrasse kaum zu überbieten. Die gesamte Anlage ist extrem gepflegt. Die Lage erlaubt viele Aktivitäten, und man ist sehr schnell in Monaco und Menton Probleme werden sofort gelöst.

Magnificent Sea View!

Nice stay! A lovely French host. Modern small European kitchen with everything you need. Nice bathrooo. If you love to hike and go for long walks and adventure, this is it! Visit the chateau medieval. The local bus is nearby to take you to any train station and Menton and Italy. A nice Cafe and a restaurant nearby with outdoor dining. A very special place. I will definitely stay here again.

Ruhig und angenehm und doch mittendrin

Wie haben bereits unseren vierten Urlaub in dieser schönen, modernen Wohnung genossen, die sich in einem sehr gepflegten, luxuriösen Anwesen befindet. Durch den Einbau einer Klimaanlage ist sie noch attraktiver geworden. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist am Tage und im Dunkeln umwerfend. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort ist unbedingt erwähnenswert.

Check-In und check-out mit der überaus charmanten Madame Lafond wie immer einfach wunderbar, effektiv und schnell, Kommunikation mit Vermieter sehr gut, Wohnung, Küche, Bad in sehr gepflegtem Zustand, Ausstattung komplett, sehr sauber, Lage im "Chateau de la Mer" herrlich,Terrasse mit fantastischem Blick auf Meer und Monaco umwerfend, nur der Holz-Terrassenboden bedarf bald einer Reparatur oder Erneuerung bis wir wiederkommen - und wir kommen bestimmt wieder zurück! Perfect location

The view from the apt is stunning. The apt building and grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Mme. Lafond was helpful and reliable in assisting us with check-in and out, even though our flight was delayed and we arrived late in the night. We hope to return to this gem of a location in Roquebrun.

Living in a "Chateau"

We rented this apartement again this year and it was again a wonderful experience and stay! The site is lovely with a fantastic view to the sea and Monaco, the rooms are spacious and absolutely clean and modern, everything is in a very good condition and the terrace is the highlight. The ancient city of Roquebrune and many restaurants are right around the corner. Thank you very much - especially to Madame Lafond, who had always a smile for uns! We will come back!

Fantastic place, I don’t think the pics do it justice. Mme Lafond trés gentille and does the owner justice. We didn’t have a contact number but that was quickly remedied. I think we will definitely be back. C’était superbe. Merci x

Loved it!

A lovely modern apartment in a fantastic building. Spacious living/dining area, large comfortable bed and great kitchen facilities (fab coffee machine). The terrace is amazing and we spent most of our days on it. A fan in the bedroom would make sleeping more comfortable as leaving the windows open at night meant inviting insects to feast. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the village where you will find some great restaurants, a small grocery shop and a cafe. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful apartment, then I thoroughly recommend this one.

Very Unique Spot

Super unique spot legitimately in a chateau. I really liked the small medieval town of Roquebrune as well. Only issue was that AC was not working, but I was assured it is being fixed! So can't blame them for that. Madame Lefond is great- helpful if you know even just a tiny bit of french.

EmailSehr schöne Ferienwohnung über der Bucht von Roquebrune

Die Terrasse der Wohnung ist traumhaft schön mit der Aussicht auf die Bucht von Roquebrune und Monaco. Die Wohnung hat einen hohen Standard, ist geräumig und ist gut ausgestattet. Parkplatz auf dem Gelände vorhanden. Schwimmbad und Umkleidekabine ist vorhanden und gut benutzbar. Madame Lafond ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bus Linie 21 hält gerade unten an der Strasse, mit ihm kann man nach Menton und Monaco fahren. Die Fewo ist geeignet für 2 Personen, die beweglich sind und sich schnell zurecht finden. Wir würden die Wohnung wieder mieten.

nice place

Everything was great except the contact person did not speak English and we do not speak French. So we had to involve our French friends to communicate for us. Also I would recommend the owner to provide shampoo as we would expect it in any rental place. Honestly, we did not have time to go shopping for a shampoo and we could not bring it from overseas. Location is great! View is unbeatable! The size of the apartment is very roomy and comfortable. I would recommend it.

A week at Château de la Mere

The château is beautiful inside and outside, the patio / balcony was massive and had amazing views across the bay to Monaco. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to self cater for our week. It was easy to locate and had a dedicated parking space. There were a few minor issues that required to be addressed (advised to property manager) ie the toilet seat was the incorrect size and kept coming lose, the electrical supplies tripped (reset ok), cooker extractor light defective - the apartment was very clean however a little TLC is required of the extractor fans and overhead fan to remove the dust. We would certainly recommend to friends and consider staying here again if I’m the area. Thank you for a wonderful week
