The Space:

Find yourself in the middle of an olive grove at Olivo Nomade 2 by Tiny Away in Mompeo, just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Rome. Framed by fruit trees and open skies, this tiny house faces the distant villages and the peaks of Mount Terminillo. Walk to the piazza for coffee or visit Salisano, Poggio Mirteto, Abbazia di Farfa, Gole del Farfa, and Pozze del Diavolo.



A cozy 252-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and electric-heated shower. There are two tiny houses on the property.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny house and its surroundings, except for the land host's private residence.

Olivo Nomade 2 by Tiny Away is tucked into the rugged hills of Sabina located in the Provincia di Rieti, Italy. Just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Rome, our tiny houses is set on the countryside charm with narrow streets and stone buildings.



Explore scenic destinations like the twin lakes of Lago del Turano and Lago del Salto, ideal for boating, fishing, and peaceful walks. Visit the breathtaking Marmore Waterfalls or enjoy outdoor adventures at Monte Terminillo, a hub for skiing and hiking. Wander through the charming Sabine Hills, dotted with historic towns and serene landscapes.



Discover the rich history when you explore Rieti's Underground, where ancient Roman foundations lie beneath the city streets. Wander through the Centro Storico di Rieti, home to landmarks like Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. Visit the serene Abbazia di Farfa, or explore the charming nearby towns of Cittaducale and Amatrice, for a trip to medieval life while staying at our mobile homes.



Getting Around:

By Car:



- From Rome, it’s about a 1-hour drive (60 km).

- The nearest larger town, Poggio Mirteto, is 20 minutes away (20 km).

- The road is suitable for a standard 2WD vehicle.



By Public Transportation:



- Take a train from Rome to Poggio Mirteto Scalo.

- From there, catch a local bus to Mompeo (note: only three buses run daily).

- Mompeo village is a 5-minute walk from the accommodation.



If you plan to visit nearby towns, having a car is highly recommended. There’s no taxi service in the area, but the host can provide a ride to the train station for an additional cost.



By Flight:



- The nearest major airport is Rome Fiumicino (FCO), approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by car.

- From the airport, you can either rent a car or take a train into Rome, then follow the public transportation route above.



Other Things to Note:

- Wifi is available.

- Charcoal BBQ grill is available.

- Mobile reception has good signals.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed.

- No smoking inside, except in designated areas.

- Please note that longer stays or late check-outs will incur an extra charge.

- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.



Important note:



- Barbecues are not allowed during fire bans.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
