"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. "Stayed two nights 26/27 March. The de luxe double was an excellent room very comfortable bed had a really good night sleep. Bath in the bathroom a positive. Breakfast on first day a full english really well cooked next day on the Saturday had eggs royale really good."

"This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym. "The manager and staff at this hotel go above and beyond. My wife is disabled and travelling can be a challenge. The folks here just go out of the way to make things as easy as they can. The accessible room is large and the bathroom with its roll in shower and shower stool is well designed and functional. Top marks to all the staff."
