"One of the most beautiful drive to this property located at remote location! Even though it’s gravel road, if you enjoy driving, you’d appreciate the beauty of the nature during entire drive. Other guests spotted whales and dolphins right at front side of property. I and my wife enjoyed our stay. I’d go there again just to enjoy the drive and have a cup of coffee in morning sitting at bench in front of the property hoping to spot whales!"

"The room at the Hildibrand Hotel was spacious, clean, and comfortable. While the shower was extremely small, it did have excellent water pressure. Be aware that this is a self-check-in hotel with no front desk staff on-site. That made it especially frustrating when we experienced problems with the room door lock. We sent several messages to management through the Expedia app but never received a response. Another major disappointment was that the hotel advertises two bars/lounges, a coffee...

"We absolutely loved our stay at Ásgeirsstaðir Cottages!! We wish we could have stayed more than just a night, but we had to move along to our next destination. The cottage was perfectly equipped with everything one might need. The beds were comfortable, there was a cozy living room and dining area, and our particular cabin was at the end of the road on the edge of a beautiful lupine patch. "Pro: guests cleaned up after themselves all the spaces were clean. Shoes off at the door you have to switch into indoor slippers. Very well equipped shared kitchen. Didn't have to wait long to use bathrooms/showers since there were multiple. Convenient location to shops and restaurants. Con: way too noisy. Even though we had our own room it felt like a true hostel. Might as well pay more if you're looking for good rest. The heavy doors will slam shut every few minutes and it's not soundproof....

"The room was spotless, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There's a well-equipped shared kitchen on the first floor where you can cook meals, toast bread, and prepare other food. Complimentary coffee and tea are also available, which was a nice touch. The only downside is that the room is a bit small for two people. "So we rented the apartment version of this hotel . It was lovely. Had a bedroom a living area that also had a bed . Dining table and full kitchen and bathroom . The listing gets confusing due to the other reviews but there are two versions the apartment version where you are o ly with your group and then the rent a room with a community living and kitchen area . The full apartment was great and a great little village ."
