Knotty but Nice by the Bitterroot!

Kick off your boots and enjoy a one of a kind, newly renovated, & professionally designed cozy cabin getaway across the street from the gorgeous Bitterroot River, a blue ribbon trout stream! Better yet, grab your canoe and pole to test your luck with some fishing. How about a scenic bike ride from the cabin taking you along the river to the historic downtown Stevensville area, Montana's oldest town home to small shop boutiques and delicious local foods. For snow lovers, we’re minutes away from the spectacular Lolo pass, and Lost Trail ski areas.

As you enter the house, you are greeted with a rustic comfortable atmosphere and exposed log beams. The home is bright and inviting. The open living room, dining room and kitchen has two bedrooms off to the side along with a bathroom. Behind the kitchen is a large mud room/laundry.
The upstairs loft is one large master suite with a scenic balcony where you can enjoy the majestic views of the Bitterroot Mountains along with your morning coffee.

The Stevensville boat launch is just a mile away, & just across the river is the Lee Metcalf wildlife refuge where you can fish, hunt, birdwatch and hike.

Whether you come to relax, explore the great outdoors, or just get away & work away from home you will leave rejuvenated, refreshed with unforgettable memories.

We had a fantastic stay at this home. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with almost everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The kitchen was especially well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and we appreciated all the little touches that made the place feel welcoming and well cared for.The location was good. Check in and check out was easy. Pasha went out of her way to get us into the home when we had to abruptly evacuate our other vacation rental. One thing to note: if you’re on the taller side, be mindful of the lower ceilings in certain areas of the home. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s something to keep in mind for comfort. My husband is 6’5” and it was a bit tricky in spots.Overall, a wonderful stay in a well-appointed space—we’d definitely recommend it.

Stellar experience. The cabin is thoughtfully designed. It was plenty spacious for me and my husband and our three boys, ages 15, 12, and 2. The layout is such that people sleeping in the bedrooms aren’t disturbed by noise in the living area. Immaculately clean. Extraordinarily pretty and comfortable, with details like nice-smelling towels, fresh mums on the porch (we were there in the fall), seasonal pillows and floral arrangements on couches, chairs, and even the balcony, and a scented candle for us to burn. The master bedroom bed is theee most comfortable bed in the world, and the sheets are incredibly soft. Exceeded my expectations in accommodations and diversions for our 2-year-old: clean Pack ‘n’ Play; bins of blocks, cars, and puzzles; a high chair; even a kids’ book about Montana - all tucked away in gorgeous baskets! Loved the fire pit (and there was plenty of wood chopped for us), bags and plastic axe-throwing game for the big boys, and porch swings! Loved seeing mountains right out our door. A stone’s throw from a great grocery store. Short walk to Bitterroot River. Three-minute drive to downtown, which is cute. Can’t say enough good things about This cabin.

Our hosts went over and above to make our stay extremely enjoyable…even supplying the Dutch oven I needed for my bolognese sauce!Would highly recommend both the accommodations & Pasha & David as hosts. However, if any of the guests are 6’-8” tall there may be a bit of ducking & a fly swatter would be nice.

This place is a gem. Not far from Missoula, many Bitterroot Forest trails, and so much more. The cabin was the perfect size for our family with a lovely deck and porch for lounging. The backyard had wonderful green grass and a great fire pit for cool Montana evenings. They thought of everything.

Perfect home in the Bitterroot Valley!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return in the future. The home is perfectly situated for many outdoor activities and is very close to downtown Stevensville. The house is beautifully appointed in every way. It was very neat and clean. The owners clearly take pride in their home. Thanks to Pasha and David for sharing their property with us!

Enjoyable

This property was awesome. Great location, close to eveything we wanted to see. Property owners had a very well stocked home with pretty much everything you might need. Great welcome book with lots of information about the things to do and restaurants in the surrounding area. It was very neat and clean. It was exactly as listed & pictures of the home were exactly as it was. I will definitely stay at this home again the next time I come to Stevensville.

Super clean and comfy the whole fam loved

We came in town for soccer and we loved this cabin. Super clean and well stocked. Loved the backyard games and fire pit. My youngest loved playing baseball outside. The master bed was the most comfy we have ever had with the softest sheets. I think I actually slept better here than at home! Close to river for fishing and to town for take out Would def stay again

Perfect for our family!

My son and his fam live 10 minutes away from the house so it is perfect us to come and go. There are so many yard games and the fire pit for evenings and we even used the bbq pit this time. Everything was perfect!

Got five stars because six wasn’t an option

Second time here and both stays were great. Extremely relaxing and a wonderful way to unplug and recharge. This home was spotless and every want was at our fingertips. Great location yards from the river and five minutes from a store for snacks and all the rid bits you forgot. We will be back again.

Amigos Reunion '24

Very well appointed log home with a rustic Montana feel! This home was a perfect place to spend a few days exploring the Bitterroot Valley with old friends. New appliances, exceptionally clean, and friendly hosts. Highly recommend this home!

Absolutely phenomenal. Beautifully decorated, perfectly clean, absolutely PERFECT. No detail missed. Location is right in the middle of Hamilton and Missoula. Just a great spot. This was our second time at this place and we will be back!

Home away from home!

As soon as we arrived we felt the coziness and hospitality that this sweet cabin offers. We were somewhat "weary travelers" and this was a great spot to rest. The beds were cozy and the porches were so inviting. Our kids loved the outdoor yard games! The kitchen and laundry room were stocked well and it truly felt like home.
