Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Perfect for group gatherings or a family getaway. It`s close enough to the city but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. The cute town of White Bear Lake has plenty to do with tasty restaurants, unique shops and fun activities. The yard is massive and is great for yard games or just enjoying time by the lake. The house was recently remodeled and has plenty of modern amenities for you to enjoy and feel at home!

Everything was wonderful although we had such a short time in the home. The only issue was that I did not receive the code on the morning of check-in as communicated. There was a little bit of stress with waiting for the code and I had to call VRBO customer service to connect with the host.Everything else was as was expected.

We had a great stay at the Lake House. It was clean when we arrived. We were in town for a wedding. The location was great. 30 minutes from everywhere! The owner was quick to respond to my questions. Couldn’t ask for more.

Pet friendly. Trash cans outside full. Grill was in pot condition. Hot tub not working. No Rropane for grill. Had to turn breakers on to get outlets to work. Four of five pool sticks had no tips. WiFi wasn’t working when we arrived. Deck outside full of leaves. Climate in house was warm. Needed more towels for showers

I have never had to give a negative review so this is hard. Please know the house was aesthetically beautiful. Great layout, great lake side view, good lighting. However, there were some major safety concerns. The downstairs basement door would not open (we all tried) - this is a huge fire safety danger as the two sisters sleeping downstairs had no way out except through a window that was in a window well. The railing at the entrance to the home where the lock box is located was rickey and not stable. It was not stable enough for anyone to use as a support going up the stairs to the door. The front window by the same door - it's locking mechanism had been broken (looked like it had been broken into) so there was no way for us to lock that window leaving us vulnerable while we were sleeping or away from the house. The window treatment blinds in the two front bedrooms had multiple missing slats or holes - so the two sisters staying in those room had to use plastic bags to cover the holes to feel safe from anyone being able to see in. There was a jacuzzi without a lid just outside the back door that had a tarp draped in it and it was 1/2 full of stagnet water and mosquito larva. The grill was filthy and both of the propane tanks were empty. The glass top table on the deck was so grimy and dirty that it took us three attempts to get it clean. This is NOT a normal VRBO experience and should fall back on the third party rental company.

The house is in a great location and we really enjoyed our time. There were a few things that can be improved. 1.Handrail going into the house needs to be repaired, it’s very loose. 2. The hot tub needs to be repaired or taken away. Right now it’s full of standing water on top of a tarp and is a breeding ground for mosquitos 3. More silverware is needed. There are only 4 butter knives. 4. The lawn needs some work, both front and back yards are a mess. I see that it is on the market for sale, if you are looking to sell the property it’s not a great first impression. 5. The hall light does not work 6. There was no body wash in either of the 2 showers. 7. Check the heater, to make sure it’s working properly. It was usually really cold or really hot. 8. Linens could use an update. 9. I did not see a checkout list, we stripped the beds, took out the trash and put the key in the lock box.

Graduation Weekend

This was the perfect location for our family to relax during our daughter's graduation. Pool table in the basement was a big hit. It appeared the property was still being renovated, but what has been completed is very nice.

Fablulous location and cozzy

Super comfortable with beautiful views of the lake. We loved that its on a cul-de-sac so no traffic... its quite neighbors are nice and an overall fabulous place to unwind... we would DEFINITELY stay here again

Great Gathering Spot

This house was the perfect gathering spot for my husband and I, our children, their spouses and grandchildren. The house has a fresh remodel to the interior and was very comfortable. There is a beautiful view of the lake, quiet cul de sac, nice deck off the kitchen for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. There were a few things that we contacted the property manager about upon checking in, but they were quick to resolve the issues with no problems and even sent flowers to apologize for the inconveniences.

The owner was great to work with and the house fit our needs. Quiet neighborhood located close to events in the area. Enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck looking over the lake. Would stay here again when back in the area.

A great lake home to stay at

My family and I dealt with a furnace fire and these hosts allowed us to stay when a lot of other places would not. They were kind and made the process very easy for us while going through a hard time. The home was beautiful and decorated very nicely. Great location with friendly neighbors as well. I bet this home would be a great get away with the lake being right in the backyard.
