Great Getaway Enjoy Lake Living ~ 20 minutes from St Paul and Wisconsin

This home has a fireplace and a great front porch to watch sunsets from.
This is a large space for a wonderful family gathering or get together with friends . The kitchen is large for cooking and sets 8 to 10 in the dining room.

The lake is across the street and a city park is 1/ 2 block away . It's only 20 minutes from St. Paul and Wisconsin. You really feel your away from it all and a enjoying a totally different lifestyle. Enjoy! The home was built in 1908, and is newly remolded. The home is surrounded by perennials.

There is an extra guest fee applicable reservations over 5. Maximum amount of guests is 12 at any time. Exceeding 12 will forfeit damage deposit.
You must obey all rules or reservation can be canceled .Anyone staying at the house must be paid for. There is a hard maximum of visitors set to 12.
The fireplace can’t be used after the temp goes to 32 degrees. The basement will not get heat and pipes will freeze . 7 day minimum for laundry use.

Charming older home, comfortable beds, all rooms nice size and living area so cozy, exactly what we had hoped for on a get away weekend in White Bear Lake. Host very responsive to any questions. Close to Stillwater, Woodbury and downtown White Bear Lake, really wonderful stay!

It smelled a little musty when first entering the house. The parking in back was a little tight and the neighbors across the street were doing work on their house so a truck and attached trailer were parked at the curb making it a little more challenging for us to back out.

You can not beat the location of this property. So close to the beach...but the climb back to the house is only for youngsters. I personally love old houses and this one is certainly an old house. Squeaky floors, stuck drawers, glass door knobs that pull off, and maybe even a ghost. (My grandkids swear that there is a ghost?) Check in and Check out were easy. Some mattresses where great and others not so good. Would I book this house again, no. But we sure had fun gathering all my kids and grandkids together. The lake water was clear, the days hot, and a bunch of wild grandkids....life doesn't get any better than that!

Mahtomedi summmer stay

Lots of space in this older home. It’s very clean, nothing fancy. Location was perfect for us. Has a good supply of kitchen amenities. Jane is very responsive. Would definitely stay again with family in town!

Perfect place to reconnect with old friends

Jane's place had plenty of room for us to visit. We stayed here for our high school girls get together. We sat on the deck to catch up with each other. The dining room table was the perfect spot to play cards! There are plenty of beds. The home has beautiful wood work and furnishings. We took a walk down to the beach to watch the sunset! So glad we found this rental!

Very cozy

I rented this home for a sisters getaway. It really is a great space for a relaxing weekend. My sisters noted that the shower curtains had pink mold and the grout needed a good cleaning, thus the 4 stars. The kitchen was well stocked, although the knives could be better with more variety. I would rent again!

Girlfriend stay

Accommodations are great in the gem of a house. Multiple bedrooms was a plus. Just a heads up, there are steps to get into the front or back door. Not a deal breaker for our group but could be in a few years!

50 year reunion

6 college girlfriends getting together to celebrate 50 years since junior college graduation and we had an absolute blast! The house was perfect for us with plenty of room and a great deck where we enjoyed morning coffee and evenings filled with memories and laughter! Highly recommend this house!

Great stay

My family and I loved staying in this house! It had a wonderful location and was so clean. The house fit our needs perfectly and we adored the front porch. My Mom and I sat out there a lot. The side deck was nice with the umbrella and view of the lake. The kids had plenty of space to play and relax. We walked around the neighborhood every day and down to the beach, the kids didn’t want to leave. When we come back we would stay here again.

Nice location by the lake

Short walk to the lake, it has a sectioned off area for swimming. Plenty of bedrooms in the home and nice place to relax. The AC was nice since it was hot when we visited.
