Open floor plan, and ceiling fans in every room for that tropical feel. 3 bedrooms/2 baths with expansive waterfront views. Enjoy the day with a gorgeous sunrise and coffee on the deck, a kayak ride, a game of CornHole, and end your perfect day at the lake in Adirondack chairs with s'mores by the fire pit. Spacious private cove on the lake for boating, water sports, and convenient travel to lakeside gas/restaurants.

Conveniently located near U. S. Route 522 for ease of access from Rt. 29 (James Monroe Hwy.) or I-95-VA Thornburg. Lake Anna is the second largest lake in the state of Virginia, measuring 17 miles long with 200 miles of shoreline. Distance from Washington, DC: 80 miles. Distance from Richmond, VA: 50 miles. Distance from Charlottesville, VA: 40 miles. Distance from Fredericksburg, VA: 20 miles.

Amazing spot on the lake! We loved having our coffee on the back porch overlooking the lake, and gazing at the stars at night from our private dock. We used the kayak a few times but also brought floats so we could paddle around and swim from the dock. The hot tub was such a treat, but the real cherry on top was the boat launch! It was awesome to be able to put our boat in so easily and have easy access to it throughout the weekend. We're pretty familiar with Lake Anna but the host kindly left recommendations for food with travel estimates by boat or car, which was helpful! The rooms were lovely, especially the master, and we used the grill a few times for meals. Overall, we couldn't have been happier and are already discussing our next trip!

Amazing Hone

This home is a beautiful, fully equipped rental. The primary bedroom is amazing and looks out on the Lake. And did i mention the primary bathroom??? Oh my! This will be my go to Lake Anna vacation home!

Right on the lake

What a great place to stay for a short weekend getaway. The house is right by the shore of Lake Anna. The views are amazing and there is even a dock for water access. The house is charming, clean, and well provisioned. We had a nice time and enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We checked in Sunday, December 29 and stayed thru January 2.outside lighting was very poor. It was 5:30 in the evening and very difficult to see where we were in the driveway or the front of the property. Right when you open the front door you are smacked in the face with a musty, stale smell and overwhelming smell of cat pee. We travelled as professionals in our early 50’swith two small dogs and quickly opened every door and window to help with the odors. We unloaded the car and hoped the fresh air would help but little improvement. Then I messaged the owner on VRBO to make him aware of the intolerable conditions and the response was to blame our 3 and 5 year old dogs that had been on the property no more than an hour and that ppl who just checked out said nothing. (Mean while the neighbors told us no one had stayed there in weeks)The odor was so bad we could not close the doors or windows the entire stay. The second night with all doors and windows open we were able to sleep in primary with a belt through the handles of sliders as our lock so we could sleep without the horrible smell. The home and furnishings are very dated and there is old food in the cabinets that the owners never cleaned out and left for years of past renters. The hot tub does not go above 85 so another thing we could not enjoy during our stay. The grill had 2 empty propane tanks and grates were rotted through and not usable. Overall very unpleasant stay.

Amazing!!

For us, this was a little piece of heaven. The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. It had everything we needed as far as cooking utensils, pots and pans, and towels and wash cloths. The location was nice and quiet, about 10-15 minutes away from restaurants, a gas station, and the Lake Anna State Park. The dock was very nice! The boat traffic on the water was very respectful and friendly. The views from the house and the dock were beautiful and the catfish were biting all day and night! We hope to stay again next year!

Perfect getaway for family of 4

Cal was great at communicating with me and I had all of the information needed for our stay. The cottage was very accommodating and clean & comfortable. We have 2 young children and it was perfect. The cottage looked exactly like the pictures and was well stocked. My kids loved running around the grass in the back yard which was very spacious. The view of the lake was great and we had a lot of fun in the evenings by the fire pit. Cal even provided sticks and marshmellows. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Fantastic property

The house was clean, cute and well-equipped. The property is unbeatable, with the little private beach, the docks, the VIEWS and the huge yard. We enjoyed every bit of it. The host was great and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing every time

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Call’s properties in the last year. It is a perfect, relaxing, socially-distant location for a family vacation. The houses are wonderful and comfortable. Cal is very responsive to any issues that come up. Will definitely come back for a 4th time :)

Relaxing and simple for what we wanted

The house was great for our small group of 5 to get away for a few days in the winter. The property manager was very reachable by text. We had an issue with slow internet but they got taken care of the following afternoon to make it usable (still not fast but could handle some video calls). The back 3rd bedroom does not have interior or exterior blinds. The house is not near anything besides the lake and some other houses (which is not bad just a comment) but it worked fine. Keurig provided with K cups for coffee. The rear firepit with wood was nice for an evening fire.

Great cottage! Beautiful view!

Wonderful girls getaway! The house was perfect and the owner was so nice and accommodating. The wine and marshmallows were an unexpected and great touch. Only wish it was a real fireplace. Other than that it was perfect for us.

Great time!

We only stayed for two nights, but it was awesome to get away from the renovations in our house and spend Christmas cooking and eating with the family. The house was very clean and comfortable and the view was great. The kitchen was fully equipped and got a lot of use from us! The fire pit is really nice so we had to do a fire despite the 24 degree temperature outside. We would definitely come back! The property manager was great and responsive during check in and the check out instructions where clear. Could not have asked for a better stay!

Excellent Couples’ Trip

We had an excellent friends/couples trip here. The host was incredibly helpful and very easy to reach. The house is beautiful and comfortable and we enjoyed the gorgeous views of the lake. Kitchen was the best stocked of any rental I’ve ever been in.
