  • Pack up the family and head to this beautiful home located on a quiet, deep-water cove of the lake. The home is situated on the more publicly accessible side of the lake, with easy access to many great activities and attractions. Spend the day sampling the many restaurants, breweries, or wineries close by. Play a family round of mini golf, or head to Lake Anna State Park for a hike. Civil War battlefields, Goochland Drive-in theater, Kings Dominion amusement park, Dominion Raceway, and Spring Creek golf course are nearby for added fun during your stay.

    When you're not out exploring or cruising the lake, make the most of the home's two-acre, waterfront location by swimming and fishing from the private dock. Anglers who bring their own gear and tackle can pick up bait from the nearby marina. Floats, paddleboards, and kayaks are also provided for added fun on the water. Multiple outdoor spaces include a sundeck and shaded patio complete with seating and lounge areas, plus a table for alfresco dining. At the end of the day, gather on the screened porch or take a soak in the private hot tub under the stars with a 'treehouse' feel surrounded by woods.

    The high, vaulted ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows give this home a bright, open, and airy feeling. The fully equipped kitchen boasts all stainless steel appliances and is stocked with everything needed to cook a great meal. The large deck is the perfect place to gather for a cookout or just relax, listening to the sounds of nature. Challenge your friends or family to a game of foosball or air hockey. A rarity for the area, high-speed WiFi is equipped for remote working convenience. At the end of the day, rest your head in one of the spacious rooms for a good night's sleep.

    This home is located on the public 'cool' side of the lake. This home does not offer access to a community launch for guests with boats. You will have to use a public launch. The water at the dock to the home is roughly 10 ft.

Kitchen was fully equipped, grill and blackstone worked well, wood was gathered to start a fire, and the hot tub was perfect temperature for us to use right away. Had a great stay!

The property is well appointed with great space for enjoying the lake. It was clean and in good shape. We enjoyed sitting at the fire pit and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook full meals. Lots of games. Its location is secluded but also close to some nice dining/drinking options.

Amazing property, caught some good catfish and bass right off the dock. Gorgeous view, saw tons of deer and wildlife. Perfect size house with 8 kids and 3 adults.

Great getaway

We just got back from two nights at this house and what an absolutely wonderful getaway. Great Property had a very cozy, warm, welcome and feeling we enjoyed our time and will definitely be back.

Host is a commercial company that kind of cares about your experience. I was set to arrive under an hour early and they told me I would not have access until 4pm on the dot. They told me there was a grill and the rules state that the grill must be cleaned after use, but the grill didn’t have an igniter and was very dirty. Final issue, they said the house comes with basic cleaning supplies such as 1 trash bag, but I was staying for 3 nights with 6 adults in the house so how’d they think 1 bag was enough? Overall, we had a great time and the place was what we needed from it. But a commercial company not thinking through the customer staying at the house takes the magic from a rental home very fast.

Amenities were as described, and the house was clean. The driveway was only partially cleared of snow and ice, and there was no clearing of the walkway to the house, which was treacherous, although the porch and doorway had been cleared.

Clean and comfortable beds. The kitchen is generously stocked of pots and pans and silverware. A kuirig and regular coffee pot were nice. There’s Plenty of parking for multiple families. The magnetic dart board and air hockey were just a few things in the game room we enjoyed.The outdoor fire pit was great to stay warm while we fished from the dock.

Woodhaven Hideaway

Wonderful location in cove on the lake! Very well stocked with plenty of kitchen items as well as a boat house full of goodies for enjoyment. Spent many hours fishing, boating, paddle boarding and kayaking. Docking our boat was easy. All in all, our party of 3 adults and 5 kids ages 5-13 had a wonderful time!

Fantastic Memorial Day weekend

We loved our Memorial stay the at Woodhaven Hideway - property was extremely and well appointed with lots of things to do. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit area and the dock/boat house to kakak, swim fish and SUP. Top grilling set up too. Highly recommend

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! Everything you need is there, clean, and beautiful! The fire pit and showers are amazing! There are a ton of fun things to use in the lake but you definitely will want to bring bug spray.

Fun 2 night trip with teen age boys!

It was a Dad and teenage son spring break outing. The boys enjoyed sleeping in the bunk bed. Boat rentals were close by. We enjoyed our pontoon boat ride. The property was generally clean and every amenity/utility inside the house worked fine. We did not use the hot tub. Would stay here again if similar need arises in the future.

Very relaxing

Loved this place so much. I only wish it was more affordable- the fees are really high! But you could definitely fit a ton of people in this place. There are two big bedrooms that could easily have littles plus parents. The game room was legit and one of the few places with an air hockey table! They had a lot of equipment for the lake which the kids really enjoyed.

So great!

This place was wonderful! very family with games and activities and surprises for kids indoors and the lake and water toys outdoors on the dock! The kids spend 90% of the time in the water, even though it was still cold. Vacasa rarely disappoints when it comes to managing the property. We had so much fun we overslept on check out day and where fumbling to get out in time!

Wonderful Vacation

The house was well stocked with all the dinnerware, silverware, and cooking accessories needed to make everything we wanted. The flat top grill and weber gas grill were a definite plus! It was VERY clean and up to date! The furnishings were perfect for our family. The game room was well stocked and we all enjoyed the Foosball table and air hockey. The hot tub was large and lots of fun. It was a great 3 night stay and we all wished it could have been longer. We are definitely considering coming back again!

We understand that to be close to nature, you will be close to nature. But the number of spiders was on the excessive side. It made it hard to find a place that spiders were not already well established including the deck, screen porch and inside. It may be a consequence of being so close to nature. We tried to look pass it because the lake and all the toys to use were so fun. The house had the feel that no one, except for the spiders, had been there in weeks.

This was a beautiful and comfortable house. We loved all aspects of it. We did have trouble getting in. The initial and secondary codes didn’t work, but thankfully the third one did. I was able to text with a property assistant, who was friendly but only moderately helpful as she wasn’t familiar with the property herself and had to ask her team. Messages through VRBO received no reply for days, and in fact most were only answered after we checked out. It was confusing to received emails from both VRBO and Vacasa. One clear communication channel would’ve been helpful. The house could have been a bit cleaner—it was clear that someone had spilled something very sticky over the chair and floor in the living room and it wasn’t cleaned up. The upstairs bathroom had toothpaste all over the walls. Overall, though, it was a tidy place, just small messes.It was a joy to take our meals down to the dock, or read in front of the fire—whether outside or in. It was very quiet (except for the landscapers)—lots of birds and beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The jacuzzi was very relaxing.The main negative was something the managers would have no control over: the neighbors. Their bonfires blew smoke directly into the house, even down the chimney so that we couldn’t keep windows open. The worst day was when landscapers started gas blowers at 7am, then burned the leaves in the fireplace all day. The house filled with smoke until we closed it up. Disappointing, but what do you do.

Cozy house right on the lake with a great dock

We were looking for a house on the water on the public side on the lake. This house fit the bill and we had a wonderful stay. The house itself was cozy and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch in the morning and hopping in the hot tub at night after a long day. During the day we spent it down at the lake each day jumping off the dock or exploring the lake on a rented pontoon boat. The house is nicely equipped with so many nice touches. Inside, it was great to arrive to made beds, nicely folded towels, variety of soaps (hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish soap, etc) as well as starters of towels, toilet paper, and coffee pods. Having access to the washer/dryer was nice to refresh the towels during the week. Note to bring some extra towels for the lake. The beds/pillows were comfortable and there were throw blankets for the couches. Kitchen was well equipped. We had such wonderful weather that we didn't use the play area in the basement a ton but it was fun and would really come in handy if we were stuck inside. The water was warm and we loved that they gave us access to their items including the kayaks, paddle boards, and floats. It was also nice to have a shaded area with the table on the dock along with adirondack chairs in the open section. The house was a relatively short drive to the grocery store and some restaurants as well. It was an excellent stay!
