Stargazer - Mineral Bluff

What an incredible value for such a gem hidden in the mountains in Mineral Bluff, GA. Come unwind and notice the simple details that make this cabin the most darling retreat in North Georgia. Cuddle up on a chilly weekend night in front of the beautifully crafted river rock fireplace while you watch your favorite movie on the High Definition Flat Panel TV. Or bring your favorite flicks from home and take advantage of the DVD player! The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing anything your heart desires while you catch up on some R&R, AND it has a nifty hammered copper sink that you didn't even know you wanted! The comfortable dining area adjacent to the kitchen and living room offers seating for 6. 
 

After dinner, we know you'll be ready for a competitive game of pool downstairs in the recreation room which also offers another lounge area with a 60" High Definition Flat Panel TV and PlayStation! If you're more in the mood for relaxing, enjoy some outdoor time on a swing, hammock, or in front of the fire pit OR outdoor fireplace (so many choices!). Let's not forget the ultimate in relaxation...the glorious hot tub! Soak all of your worries away under the stars. At the end of the day, everyone wants a room to call their own. With several options offering ultimate comfort, no one will feel like they got the short end of the stick. 

The Entry Level offers a King Bedroom with a 32" Hi Def Flat Panel TV. Just across the hall is a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Upstairs offers a Master King Bedroom, complete with attached bathroom with Jetted Tub and a separate stand up shower, and double vanity. The bedroom also has a 32" Hi Def Flat Panel TV, DVD Player and it's own private deck, perfect for a romantic and quiet evening under the stars. Downstairs in the Lower Level, you'll find a Queen Bedroom with lower deck access, and a 32" Hi Def Flat Panel Tv. Across the hall offers a bathroom with a tub.shower combo. The great thing about being on the lower level is, you're close to all the fun! This warm, inviting abode is just calling your name.

Everything went very well through the entire process. Property management was prompt in responding to my inquiries. The property location was remote, private very clean, well stocked and overall very comfortable. We would highly recommend southern comfort to our friends and family, and look forward to working with them in the future. thank you so much for a very pleasant experience.

Mountain Retreat in Georgia

While the home is quite lovely in the pictures and in person, there were several things that disappointed us. This property is accessible via a dirt and gravel road which winds up a mountain. The driveway and parking area is not flat and is small. Not every vehicle could easily reach this property. It was a challenge for our Ford F350. There should be a disclosure of this fact. If you like to cook at home on vacation, this is not the property for you. The grill wasn't in good shape - could not control the burners and was small. The kitchen utensils, serve ware, plates, glasses and silverware were sparse, the knives very dull. We had to "donate" a set of wine glasses to the house. There was one cutting board, and a few pots and pans. The microfiber kitchen towels were completely non-absorbent. The clothes dryer did not get hot at all. The air conditioning froze up and needed to be serviced while we were there after we called and also had to visit the property managers office in town. The beds need new mattresses as they sag in the middle. Comprehensive instructions would be helpful for the hot tub (we never were able to figure out how get it hot) and the TV remotes.
