"Such a great Lodge! So glad I found this gem. Would definitely stay there again. Beautiful location with a “view” of GW & TJ on Mount Rushmore. About a 2 minute drive to the monument. Large area for kids to play in the evening and a fire pit to cozy around in the evenings. We had a delicious burger in the restaurant in the evening. The breakfast was on par for free hotel breakfast. The only negative I would have is that the rooms are not very soundproof. And definitely ask for an upstairs...

"Pros: great location, balcony view, family suites were spacious. Friednly environment. Coms: bath tub was dirty, bathroom floor had hair all over, toilet was very low, AC unit was loud, constant loud noise from the AC and the pipes knocking, parking was compact, room was musky."

"We enjoyed the cabin. Sitting on the front porch was very relaxing. The restaurant was excellent. Opening the window made the air conditioner unnecessary in 70-80 degree weather. Great location too. Close to Mount Rushmore and centrally located to other places like Custer state park and Rapid city. Would stay again if we are up this way. "

"Unplug and reset!! We stayed in the stargazer tent and it as very cool! The location/view was fantastic. The tents were so clean and well kept. The whole site was quiet during sleeping hours which we really appreciated. The staff was very nice and check-in/out was a breeze. Anything we needed the staff was able to provide quickly and even did so without asking for things we didn't notice. Food from the restaurant was nice, cleaner eating and very welcomed after eating on the road/fast food prior...

"The motel was well kept and it was clean. The staff was also very helpful and welcoming. The location was within walking distance of restaurants and tourist shops. It was a short drive to Mt. Rushmore and to Rapid City. The rooms had a microwave and a mini fridge in case you bring snacks or drinks with you. It was a nice place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone making the trip out to Rapid City to see the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, the Crazy Horse memorial or wherever your travels might...

The staff were very sweet and accommodating. The room was as clean as it could be for as old as it is. Needs paint and lots of work though. TV only played a few channels. Tiny shower. "Perfect location to explore Keystone and surrounding areas!"

"We stayed a few nights here and really enjoyed it. It’s an upgraded old motel with some cabins and a larger lodge up the hill. Across from the abandoned false ghost town, so that was fun. Most of the cabins have a gas grill and there is one at the lodge for the other units. Fire rings and picnic tables provided some nice outdoor spaces to compliment the smaller indoor spaces. Cindy was super helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast is light (cereal, toast, fruit, coffee) but just right. Good home...
