There are many popular cycling routes in the area making it ideal for cycling enthusiasts too.

The town of Kendal is 20 minutes’ away by car and boasts shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and many supermarkets, and Windermere can be reached within 30 minutes’. Hill View is conveniently located to take advantage of both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks, you will be spoilt for choice for things to see and do.
