Whether it's a romantic getaway or a family vacation, you'll love your stay at this newly renovated lakefront cottage on a private 2.4 acre lot. You will enjoy your unobstructed view from the large deck and the brand new dock. Two rooms with queen beds, one bunk room with full size bunk bed and twin trundle (3 beds total in that room). Get all your supplies two miles away at Kroger. Only ten minutes from downtown restaurants and shops. Have your coffee each morning on the dock and watch the sunrise with nearly 200 feet of lake frontage. During the day, swim and fish off the dock. At night, the kids will love roasting hot dogs and s'mores over the fire outside. Enjoy your favorite music with the built-in Bluetooth speakers on the deck and dock.

End of summer get away

This is an adorable cottage. Perfect size for my husband and I.. most the time sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds watching boats, listening to the rain…. restaurants and any kind of utility are not far away if needed. Check in and check out process was Easy. We had visitors from some deer and mallard ducks. Highly recommend

One of the best summer vacations we’ve had. So much so, we stayed an extra day. David was readily available for an issues we encountered (we had none). The kids loved the dock and the kayaks. Every morning we fed the ducks in the yard as we enjoyed our coffee. It was truly the most relaxing vacation that we hated to see end. Will definitely be back next year!!

Relaxing Sorority Sisterhood Weekend

This property was a perfect reunion spot for 7 ladies who decided (at the last minute) to forego an impersonal hotel and find a local place that had generous space for fellowship and story telling. This place had three such spots (a lovely dock), a sprawling back patio overlooking the tranquil lake (coffee spot daily!) and an indoor dining room table for late night chats. Three comfy queen beds and a bunk bed set-up provided more than enough room for us. Highly recommend. Host David was so accomodating for our stay.

Excellent Stay

Stayed for the weekend with family, and we had a perfect visit. The house is beautiful, well-appointed and clean, and is centrally located and close to everything one might need. If I had one suggestion, it would be that a second tv somewhere in the house would be nice (when staying in the off season or on rainy days, it would be nice to be able to send the kids into another room with tv or video games). But that’s just a suggestion, not a complaint. I would definitely stay here again!

Convenient location

The cottage is as described in listing , very clean, very organized and set up with all the kitchen essentials. The lake views are beautiful. Cottage is close to all shopping (including a brand new Publix nearby) and just a few minutes to Georgia College campus. For us it was a quick stay for orientation day at GCSU and we are definitely coming back.

Peaceful Get Away

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed and we were all very comfortable. A roomy and peaceful porch to sit on. The dock(with Bluetooth speakers and a beautiful open view) was nice to relax on and had great bumpers for our boat. There is a small beach area to walk around on or fish from. My son caught an almost 5lb large mouth bass from it. We all enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.

Family with kids had a wonderful time! Amenities were great. The large deck setup was particularly nice, with comfortable long table and side seating area. Nice to have fans to enjoy the wonderful view. Easy entry to the lake from the dock to swim, float, and enjoy the view. Lots of wildlife. Super close to Kroger. Would rent again.

Private, quiet and clean location directly on the lake, while still close to grocery stores and restaurants. The home has plenty of indoor and outdoor room. This is our favorite place so far to visit our college student.

Perfect Fall Getaway

What a great house for our fall getaway with our two college-age kids! The location is terrific - close to the grocery store, Lake Sinclair Bait and Tackle (highly recommend if you have fishing needs!), and Milledgeville for shopping and dinner out. The best part of this property is the amazing dock! We spent the majority of our time hanging out on it and look out over peaceful Lake Sinclair!
