"The hostel was situated in such a serene and peaceful location that I instantly fell in love with it. It honestly became one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. They even had a proper kitchen where guests could cook their own meals, making it feel more like a home than just a hostel. I met people who had been staying there for months while working remotely, and I completely understood why.
Rooms were clean, very clear instructions. All staffs are so kind and helpful. I should mention Adam...

"Now marketed as the Drum Hotel, Expedia should do the same and not use Drumnadrochit Hotel! The room was small for a twin room and very basic for storing clothes etc. Overall the staff were helpful on reception when asked anything about visitor attractions. We only ate one breakfast in the cafe. Would have preferred a proper breakfast room with more obvious element of being served. The cafe had no yoghurt so one breakfast was unavailable and as it was Bank Holiday the reason we didn’t eat again...

"What a warm welcome at a beautiful hotel! The manager made me a fire & brought me a glass of champagne upon arrival. Dinner reservations were taken care of & I only wish we had been there longer. Attention to detail is so apparent. And the gardens are stunning!"

"Managed to book the last room available a twin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. Said own bathroom but was across the public hallway. At check in was not advised to turn power to bathroom was a switch outside in public hallway. Not great when already stripped off. Eventually worked it out.
Breakfast was great with outlook over country side."

"Die Lage ist toll. Man ist komplett im Grünen und hat Blick auf den See im Tal. Der Aufenthaltsraum war gemütlich. Das Frühstück wurde ins Zimmer/in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Als Kaffee gab es für jeden nur eine Tasse zum Aufbrühen und löslicher Kaffee. Eine Kaffeemaschine würde das Frühstück deutlich verbessern. Ansonsten war alles top."

The waiter could not adequately explain the pricing and I think we were charged double because we shared appetizers and mains (I think they charged per person even if you shared plates). The rooms are pretty dated too including a stained chair in the room."

The food was great, we recommend the scallops, duck and venison dishes.
We stayed in room 6 which was lovely and a really nice ensuite bathroom. Very quiet and slept well so can’t complain!"
