  • Visit Ohiopyle for white water rafting, hiking and the beautiful Cucumber Falls. Nearby are two of Frank Lloyd Wright's homes - Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Just one mile up the road is the hiking trail station. Seven Springs is a short jaunt if you want to zip through the trees. For the history buffs, check out Fort Necessity and Fort Ligonier. Visit Laurel Hill State Park for family fun swimming at their beach.
    You will enjoy our quiet, family friendly atmosphere. Our renovated cabins are secluded and surrounded by the quiet woods. They have fully equipped kitchens, furnace/air conditioning and a deck with a grill. Sheets and towels are provided. Firewood is available for a fee, if used, or you may bring your own.

Lovely place! Very clean! Very comfortable! Very cozy! Beds very nice! Kitchen had every little thing you could possibly need...whisk, spatula, measuring cups, toaster, coffee maker, great griddle and more! Lovely yard. Fire ring very nice each night! We brought our own wood but ran out..so glad we were able to purchase wood right on site at a very fair price! Our only surprise was how close we were to the well-traveled roadside -we had hoped we would be deeper into the woods - But, we deffinitely recommend this place! You will not be disappointed! Great location! Pet friendly! VERY close to so many wonderful places. All in all, a wonderful stay!!!

Quiet Getaway

Loved the place and was so quiet! Lots of fishing locations also. All the accommodations at the cabin were great, you honestly don’t need to bring anything. We would highly recommend spending time there.

Beautiful Log Cabin convenient to Ohiopyle

Beautiful spacious log cabin, it was plenty of space for the 4 of us to spread out. It had the feeling of being out in the woods, yet only a few minutes drive to Ohiopyle. We enjoyed our long weekend, and definitely would like to do it again.

Very cute place! Well stocked kitchen with supplies and lots of towels in the bathroom. Extra pillows too!!! The only negative was a lot of stink bugs, most dead inside, but a few alive.

Primitive Blessing

The cabin was just the way the pictures shown and was fully equipped with everything you would need, including wasp and hornet spray. Ty. We were able to pack light and have more time to enjoy this beautiful area. The location was prefect because it was surrounded by woods, but yet close enough to Ohiopyle State Park so you didn't waste time driving long distances to view the sights. Definitely, will stay her again when visiting this area Thank you Patrick and Donna for a wonderful stay!

Great stay!

This is the most meticulously upkept cabin you have stayed at! The place feels like you have left the civilization behind for a couple days and sometimes that is exactly what you needed. Couple notes for your upcoming trip: There's very very poor cell signal. The surrounding area is a hunting area so choose your hiking spots wisely. The upper bunk bed is a little close to the ceiling, probably OK for the kids but my husband had trouble getting out of there when he tried it.

Isolated

The cabin and property were pristine, and so quiet, that the only noise I heard was that you were three cars that passed daily. This place is VERY far from everything, so, to buy water for the trip required a half hour drive. The bed was comfy. The shower had lots of hot water in the kitchen contained everything (except water). There was plenty of furniture in the living room. Lots and lots of outdoor space for kids to play or for outdoor games.

A great mountain cabin!

What a great country modern, comfortable well-lit roomy cabin! It has a good heating system that quickly warmed up the cabin in the morning. The thermostat shows outside temperature. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, lots of cabin storage space, and three good sofas. On check-in we had trouble getting the door to unlock. Soon, Donna’s voice came on from apparently a ring tone feature. To unlock you put the code numbers in slowly and then press the unlock icon. To lock from outside, pull the door toward you as you press the lock icon. If this does not work, do an unlock, and then try again. It was an enjoyable place to stay in mid-May. There was very little road traffic, even quieter at night. We were glad we stayed here.

The worst lodging experience I have ever experianced

When my wife and I arrived at my assigned unit we were unable to park because of uncleared snow. We parked on the street and trudged through the snow to the uncleared ramp to the cabin and retrieved a snow shovel from the from the front porch. We cleared the parking area and walkway to the cabin and unloaded our luggage and supplies to the front door. When we tried to access the front door with the access code we were given we were unable to gain access to the unit. We then tried to contact the owners but realized there was no phone service (this is something that we should have been warned about). We loaded or luggage and supplies back into our car and drove 5-10 miles until we could gain phone service. We tried to call the owners again but the calls went unanswered. At that point we returned to the cabin and noticed a cabin next door that was very similar. Although the other cabin did not look like the unit we thought we rented, we thought possibly we were at the wrong cabin. We used the access code again and we were able to gain access to the other cabin. Again, we shoveled the porch and unloaded our luggage and supplies into the cabin. After we were settled-in we heard someone at the front door. Three people stated “they thought we were in their cabin”. They said when they noticed someone in their cabin they also tried to contact the owner but they also did not get an answer. Both groups than tried to access the unit at 1000 Maple Summit but could not gain access. After several more attempts to contact the owner she finally answered the phone and gave us the correct code . For the third time we loaded up our luggage and supplies and moved it to the other cabin. Before our guests arrived we tried to do a better job clearing the ramp to the cabin but realized it was covered with close to an inch of ice in most places. We tried unsuccessfully to locate some salt or some type of deicer but could not find any. The next morning when leaving the cabin I slipped on the ice and injured my hip. The injury caused me to be unable to ski which is the sole reason we made the trip. As it could not get any worse the owners called me Monday morning with a strange accusation that we broke into the other cabin for some un-known reason. I believe she was trying to indicate we did something wrong. I explained the situation to her again and when I told her how terrible the situation was and how I slipped and fell on the ice she hung u

Great Weekend Getaway

This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was clean and had all of the amenities one might need, even a dishwasher! The location is also perfect, just a few miles from Ohiopyle.

Solitude

The property was perfect for us. I was with a group of 5 men and we enjoyed the house. It’s amazing how quiet it was and sitting under the stars with a camp fire going was the perfect way to end our days of rafting and hiking. The hosts were wonderful folks and easy to communicate with. WiFi was iffy but it’s understandable because it was satellite Wi-Fi with 5 guys trying to communicate with their families in the evening hours. Cell service is sketchy at best as well but you are in the mountains. All of this was clearly communicated as well so we knew what we were getting into . Ohiopyle has so much to offer and this was a great place to experience it all.
