"Our stay was for 3 nights . The room was clean and comfortable and quiet . It is pet friendly which alot of pets where staying there I never heard any barking. Staff everyday came in and tidy up bed and added towels. Breakfast was very good. We stopped in at the bar/restaurant and had a few beverages and staff was very friendly and attentive. We will be coming back again."

"The girl at counter initially helpful- one employee down- so she had too Much to do- graduation weekend- chaos- our room was not acceptable- ac malfunctioning, no other room available - banking like crazy - girl couldn’t help - overwhelmed With customers. Booked thru Expedia- so they intervened and we got our money back- the hotel initially didn’t want to do that. Maybe other times the hotel is ok- might be just one off"

"My daughter and I stayed here for the mother-daughter Gilmore Girls trip and I can't say enough good things. From the first moment of walking in the door, the view of the Housatonic River was breathtaking. The beds are gorgeous and so comfortable. The room is very spacious and relaxing. "This is a gem of a place. I have stayed at the abner many times and am delighted to say it is always a treat. The hotel is warm charming sparkling clean and perfectly located with shopping and dining just outside your doors. The rooms are comfortably appointed with all the extras of a posh stay . The breakfast is a must and don’t skip the frittata. Dinner is a cozy culinary experience with an ample menu to cover many tastes but dine exquisitely. "I usually don't write reviews, but I'm doing this one to highlight really excellent service. Staff behind the counter, as well as at the breakfast bar was *exceptional*. The breakfast bar was*spotless*, and the gentleman there worked non-stop to help the guests. The staff throughout this facility was kind and super courteous. Nice to see these days!!!"

"There are a lot of added expenses such as you had to pay for breakfast it wasn’t included and parking 15.00 per night. There was no coffee made in the lobby as advertised there would be. Went to guests laundry area sign said laundry detergent/supplies were available at the front desk. When I asked he said they were out of all stock. Otherwise was room was clean and nice."

"They charged me security deposit and it somehow disappeared from my transaction history and never showed up back. My bank cannot find the transaction. On my second stay they charged my card twice for security deposit. Based on reviews this has been an ongoing issue with this location. I’ve been to several locations and a hour after checkout I always get my deposit back, but for some reason this location holds onto your money."
