Beautiful place! Quiet, loved fishing right off the deck and from the paddleboat, kitchen equipped with all we needed. A perfect place to get away. Host communication was awesome.

This place is AMAZING! It's exactly as described. Actually it's better than described! The host communication was clear, readily available and very kind!. If you want a private getaway this is definitely the place for you!

We stayed in this cabin for our second anniversary in 2007. When we move back to the area, I hunted it down so we could stay in it again for our 20th anniversary. A few things have been updated but ultimately it was pretty much the same and Is the perfect peaceful getaway place!

Family Fun in VA

Our family had a great time staying at this cabin! It is stunning and clean! The pond right off the deck is perfect for the fishermen in the family while the walking trails and nearby farm animals were pure joy for our little one.

It doesn’t get any better

It was like staying at a mountain resort. The inside is clean and the decor is like being in a resort lodge. It was so peaceful and quiet. A perfect place to relax and unwind. We are already planning our next trip there.

Does not dissappoint

Second time staying at mountainpond cabin. Awesome place. Peaceful, quietness and absolutely beautiful are just a few words to describe this cabin. Just can't rent a better place than this.

Great Place to unwind

Extra nice place with nice decor and private setting. I master bedroom and a bedroom in the loft. The shower/tub is in the master bedroom area, so be aware of that when you book.

Get away

Far away from any traffic or noise very peaceful and beautiful spot. Plan on 30 to 45 min to any store or attraction. Pack all food for your stay.

Fantastic

It was fantastic and we loved to walk in the nature and enjoy the view, the horses were really friendly and the pond near there looked beautiful. The cabin was really cozy and very organized and there were many board games to choose from.Overall it was an amazing trip and I recommend coming here!!

Fabulous Anniversary Weekend

My husband and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary at the cabin this weekend and it was everything we wanted!!! So peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed fishing in the pond! The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and the tranquility is indescribable. We will definitely be back😊
