Professionally managed means peace of mind during your stay. Front desk associates, housekeeping and maintenance staff are nearby should you need anything during your stay. It’s your vacation, we are here to ensure you enjoy it.

RESORT AMENITIES AND INFO * indicates a seasonal amenity.
4ft heated pool*, toddler pool, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

Sand Trap rents with a 3-night minimum with check-in and check-out on Wednesday or Saturday during peak season (mid-June to mid-August).

Tons of fun!

Clean and close to the water. Nice touch of everyone has their own towels on their beds. Everything is there that you need except for beach chairs. Besides that, perfect.

The furniture in the Primary Bedroom has changed but the pictures on the website still show the Sofa Bed. We were surprised to see that it was no longer there for my Grandsons to sleep on. We did find an Air Mattress in the closet for them but I would have preferred to know ahead of time. The house is showing some wear and tear over the last two years and should be fixed. Overall we like the house and the resort and had a great time.

The one complaint I had was I felt like the house was just given a quick wipe down before we came - the floors were filthy and that was hard with small kids. I ended up getting cleaning solution and mopping the house myself. The town is so cute and the activities & golf carts were magic for the kids!!

Great for family vacation with small children

Other family members rented another house in the Beachwalk resort too. The Sandtrap was so nice and clean. Updated beach decor and furnishings with modern working appliances. We were a short walk or golf cart ride from our other family member’s rental, the pool, beach, fishing dock (our four year old loved this!), and playground. Definitely recommending to all of our friends. We had a great time!

Short stay, second trip to Beachwalk

Last year we stayed in a home through a private owner.SandTrap has been updated and has nice living spaces.The kitchen amenities were new and there was plenty of prep space.The kids enjoyed eating at the bartop.We were disappointed that the floors were filthy black. After walking around the house for just a few minutes my husband's socks were black. There was a nice deck out back with a table and chairs to eat at and a clean, easy to use grill. There was a wagon which we did not need but no beach chairs or toys for the kids. The home we stayed in last year had games and all of the items we would need for the beach so this was a disappointment. The road is very busy with almost constant vehicles, golf clubs or pedestrian traffic. The main bedroom has a porch which we enjoyed sitting on but the wall of windows meant the noise level at night was not restful.The master shower was very slow to drain. We are not partiers and the crowds around us were up late into the early morning hours which made it very difficult to sleep.There were fireworks going off somewhere was very disappointing as the rules clearly state quiet hours which people clearly disregard. We want to enjoy a restful, relaxing visit to the beach and when others do not have that in mind it leaves you unrested and unable to fully enjoy your vacation.The new amenities are nice. We were able to play table tennis one night when there was some rain coming in and the clubhouse did not have a lot of people around. The pool is decent size but gets crowded at times. The kids enjoyed it though for the times we used it. We really had fun trying out the peddle boats although they were full of dirty water and needed to be dumped. We should have went up and asked for the attendant to do that for us before we got in. Beachwalk is a great find without having to venture too far from home!

Great house and location

Really nicely updated home. Larger than I expected and perfect for the 5 adults and one child we had staying for a wedding. The golf cart was awesome, my three year old especially loved it. The proximity to the playground was great and the other property amenities were really nice, as well. It was a great location to visit the dunes one morning. We absolutely would use the place again for future visits to the area. The only thing I noticed was the listing mentioned a fire pit in the description but I don’t think there was one…at least that we could find. Not a huge deal but wanted to mention.

And the swiffer type vacuum is a nice touch, too. Especially with all of the sand that tracks in the house. I used it a lot! The appliances are all updated. The refrigerator is amazing! Lots of space for all of our food. CONS: Parking is limited, not much space at all. You are on top of the neighbors. It’s a very crowded street. If you’re looking for a lot of privacy, this may not be the house for you. The water spout on the deck didn’t work, so we couldn’t wash the sand off of our feet. The landscaping is messy. There is poison ivy surrounding the house. My 4 year old developed a horrible rash (luckily not until the last 2 days) that gave us all a scare. So be aware of that if you have little ones! I’m being picky, but I would rearrange the master bedroom and put the king bed on the other side of the room. It’s right next to the bathroom so if you or your spouse have to wake up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night or early morning, you are within 6-10 feet of the bed. Not much privacy and flushing the toilet and opening and closing the bathroom door wakes up the other person sleeping in the bed. Just a thought! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to friends and family.
