  • Este maravilloso baño de 3 dormitorios y 2. 5 acomodará a 10 personas y deleitará los sentidos con vibrantes colores pastel de rosa, verde y azul.

    Ubicada en el pintoresco Beachwalk Lane y ubicada centralmente entre el lago Michigan y la piscina comunitaria Beachwalk, esta casa tiene mucho que ofrecer. Abundan los porches con mosquitero y una terraza en el segundo piso ofrece aún más espacio al aire libre para disfrutar. Getaway también ofrece un pozo de fuego con asientos perfectos para contar cuentos con la familia.

    El nivel principal ofrece una gran sala de estar, perfecta para relajarse con la familia después de un día al sol o acurrucarse junto al fuego durante la noche. La cocina totalmente equipada también es ideal para cocinar y pasar tiempo con toda la familia. También encontrará una lavadora y secadora grandes, así como una sala de polvo con fácil acceso, que es ideal para entrar y salir rápidamente con los pies arenosos. El dormitorio principal con una cama queen también se encuentra en el primer piso con su propio baño completo.

    El segundo nivel comienza con un paseo arriba y uno encontrará un baño completo y dos dormitorios adicionales. Ambas habitaciones tienen acceso al exterior si desea dormir con la puerta abierta o simplemente disfrutar de la brisa que se mueve a través de la cabaña. Un dormitorio tiene una cama queen size y el otro tiene una cama queen y dos camas individuales.

    No mascotas y no fumar. Los alquileres semanales son de viernes a viernes durante las semanas pico de verano con estancias más cortas bienvenidas para escapadas de primavera, otoño e invierno. Las comodidades son de temporada y se pueden alquilar artículos adicionales, como un carrito de golf, en la oficina de Beachwalk Vacation Rentals (se recomienda reservar con anticipación).

Upon arrival it was clean. The home is in need of a major update. The kitchen is dated and in need of a major overhaul. The master mattress needs replacing and new bed covers. The mattress had two channels where people have been sleeping. The master bath is small and worn out. The caulk around the tub and sink is worn out and dirty. Not worth the price until it gets a makeover.

Last Hurrah!

Our 60th Elston High School reunion was in September, along with our long awaited week together. Getaway was new for us and it fulfilled every wish we had for our "last hurrah" together. We are 78 now and have medical issues, which make it increasingly difficult to plan a week in the future. We were delighted with our cottage and enjoyed our stay immensely. The fire pit was such a treat! Other past rentals did not have one...even though we never had a fire, being able to sit around in the circle and see the faces of all our dear women friends was magical:) We hosted a get together for our local friends and Getaway proved perfect for our gathering. Lastly, parking was great! Two spaces in the front and two in the back served us well. I.personally, need to thank the Beachwalk staff at the front office and the maintenance folks....always professional, informative, helpful and very fun:) Many thanks!!

The owners provided chairs and all kinds of beach equipment. The only improvement would be a new shower door on the main level hall bathroom as it’s very difficult to use that shower.

The home has a nice layout , and is well stocked with everything that you will need for your stay. The home is in need of some repairs. All the screens are ripped on the porch as well as the doors do not close to keep the bugs out. The master bath is desperate need of an update. The master sheets are to small for the bed, and will not stay on. All the pillows in the home are very cheep. I feel when renting a beach home for the price I paid it would have better quality beds and bedding. Over all we did enjoy the home

This is so perfect for families, the porch is a great for the kids to play while parents have Happy Hour or prepare dinner. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need including a Lily Pad!!! Beach chairs, scooters, fire pit, games, tennis racquets, etc. Something for everyone. Bonus with window AC units in the second floor bedrooms since they are always a little warmer. As a grandparent I loved the large bedroom with twin beds & a queen as I stayed with the kids and we loved our nightly chit chats. The location is the BEST! Steps to pool, beach, tennis courts, and snack shack.

You will want to stay at the Getaway

OUTSIDE: We loved sitting out front and watching the families heading to and from the beach while our grandson was napping. S'mores were a wonderful treat in the evening around the campfire. Location was perfect - close to the beach but not right at the entrance and near the pool but not within hearing distance. House has an outdoor shower which is necessary after playing with grandson in the sand and it also comes with a wagon which made taking everything to the beach so much easier! INSIDE: Everything was neat and clean, up-to-date and spacious. Downstairs bedroom had a king bed and attached bathroom and was down a hallway from the living room so stayed pretty quiet. There was also another downstair bathroom and laundry as well as roomy living room, kitchen (a little tight but definitely workable) and large dining table. Screened in porch was a great place to keep all of our beach stuff and still have room to sit or play. Upstairs has two bedrooms and a shared bath. We had an issue when we arrived with the air conditioner not wanting to stay on cooling but when we called, maintenance was there in less than 5 minutes and had it fixed within the hour - great customer service. Highly recommend this house, this neighborhood, this rental company!

Perfect location and plenty of things to do!

This house was perfect for our group! House was very nice and clean! Plenty of space. It’s very close to the pool and the beach. Very easy walk to both. Renting the golf cart was fun to take the kids cruising around. We will defiantly come back again!

This property is very cute, perfect location on Main Street in the Beachwalk neighborhood. Kids loved that it was a bright pink house. There were great beach chairs, toys, and a huge lily pad which made our 11 year olds’ entire trip special! The only 2 minor issues were that the place wasn’t ready until about 45 min after check in which isn’t bad but with 4 kids after a 5 hour drive, it was tough to hold them back and there were ants in the kitchen (not many, but I saw them). Mattress in BR on main floor isn’t super great and can get hot in one of the BR upstairs. Else, it was clean, easy access, cute place, lots of room, open floor plan on main, good parking, good neighborhood, TV in each room. Screened in porch is awesome as are balconies. Everyone said they’d come back!

This rental did have alot of extra items like tennis racquets, beach chairs, lily pad, etc for use during your stay. Everything was in proper working order but the tv and wifi situation were terrible. Everyone used their own data because the WIFI signal was weak or interrupted at all times. It takes a lot to figure out how to stream NETFLIX from the TV!!! However, the outdoor area in front of the house was our favorite spot to spend our time each night. The proximity to the beach, tennis courts and pool were amazing! I would highly recommend this property!

This particular home shows its age/use. Beachwalk resort management was as responsive as they could have been.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying in Getaway. Wonderful kitchen, lots of space, central location. Gas grill did not work well.
