Ma non chiedete informazioni alla reception: suggerito il nome di un transfer per portarci allo stadio: €20 per percorso da hotel a MD, che abbiamo fatto in 6 minuti a piedi!!!
Si è capito che il vero tragitto che portava all’ingresso dello stadio non poteva farlo perché non autorizzato!!!
Insomma , ci è toccato pure fare 5 km in salita sotto il sole!!!
Non prendete transfer consigliati da hotel, chiamate solo taxi autorizzati che,...
"Le personnel est très dévoué, attentif et très agréable. Étant situé à proximité du port pour les croisières nul besoin de prendre un taxi on roule les valises en moins de 15 minutes sur le trottoir pour atteindre le terminal. Excellent les petits déjeuners, bonne variété et surtout excellent service. Je recommande cet établissement fortement, c’est un décor moderne, c’est calme, c’est propre et près des attraits touristiques de Messine ❤️"

"After a long day on trains and ferries, in hot waiting rooms and dragging luggage up hills, it was a total RELIEF to be in a beautiful, elegant, well air conditioned hotel suite. Traveling w/an adult son, it was terrific to give him a bit of privacy bec the room had a clever wall, dividing the main bedroom from a sitting area where the twin bed was located. Huge bathroom, classic balconies, on a quiet square. Great place w/American hotel standards but Italian class and charm."
"We were checking out early. Didn’t get to have the breakfast. Everything looked cool once inside. Good area to find restaurant. Be aware - mosquitos do get into the rooms. Plan accordingly if you are someone who gets bit. Ceilings were gorgeous! Staff polite and helped with taxi."

When the tram is running its easy to get to downtown at moment buses do the journey from nearby square, easy wak.Mainland Ferry terminal is very close by, cautioun though if you have a big luggage take a taxi the 60 steps up to the road are a good climb."
