"It was my first stay at The Chudleigh, the outside of the building is beautiful, inside, the areas are clean and tidy, the owner and all the staff are very welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed, nice furniture and the hotel provided lovely little extras. The breakfast room was lovely and the food absolutely delicious. "We have stayed her before and we will stay again. A lovely location by the sea. Very efficient and friendly staff. A few issues with room (no.5), water not draining from bath, mirror light not working. I know maintenance will be sorting these out soon, probably already sorted! Wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning."

"We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round ."

"Nice room with large ensuite. Only stayed 1 night but room was quiet and very comfortable. 20 mins walk to main centre. Only bad thing was roadworks and diversions everywhere but not property's fault!"

"We were the only guests Limited staff Despite being only guests we couldn’t extend our departure We had wanted to stay until closer to midday as we were attending a midday funeral but house keeping needed to clean room for later incoming guests In the end we sat in Costa to kill time"

"I have often stayed at this hotel when travelling for business in the area and it never disappoints. The service, staff, ambience, excellent food and easy car parking, makes it a must stay. Always a genuine welcome and the pwners / staff happy to chat whilst you're there. Fantastic breakfast and a great dinner menu, congrats to the chef for thier consistent wonderful, tasty food."
