It's quite a walk from the medina, and when you first walk inside it doesn't seem to impressive. But the longer you stay, the more impressive it does become. We quietly began our trek to our desert camp. All that could be heard was the sand swishing as the camels took a step. Our caravan of 9 led by our 2 amazing camel men, continued to the desert, where sunset was waiting for us. Absolutely breathtaking.

On allotjar-se a Meknes-Tafilalet

Yup. I could live in this traditional Moroccan guesthouse. This is one of the several common areas that left me in awe. It's like staying in a palace, complete with courtyards, a rooftop overlooking the entire city, incredible staff, the best food we've had in the country and even a swimming pool. #awesome #meknes #morocco #riad #placestostay

One of the oldest gates in all of Morocco, Bab Mansour in Meknes was completed in 1737. This is one of the parts of the gate that I was in utter awe of it's detail and beauty. Today there is an arts and craft gallery through the doors. So cool. Definitely you need to check it out. WORTH. IT. :)
