Nice stay

Nice stay. Stayed 12/30/2023 -1/1/2024. Arrived and HVAC was set to a toasty 80F. Even though a small sqft I figured with all the glass windows, better leave it set and see. Glad I did. Temp dipped down at night and still got chilled. Didn’t find electric heater in closet until last day, that would’ve helped. There was extra blankets and pillows. There is a photo on listing which led me to believe the cottage was on a cliff, it is not. Actually cottage was more comfortable than the photos allude to, however I found the decor a bit cluttered. There was no place to comfortably play cards or board games. Instructions were outdated with trash removal and TV remote. DVD player didn’t work, tray would not open. Didn’t see any information about coin laundry availability which would have been nice.

This property was perfect. It’s nestled in the mountains with a great view!! I loved waking up and being able to look straight out at the beauty of the area!! Not to far from town and Desoto Falls. Perfect for a couples get away.

We really enjoyed our stay at “Ritz on the Rocks” B - a sweet, comfortable cottage w with an awesome view west from Alabama’s Lookout Mtn. The decor is wonderful!!- eclectic, masculine & feminine! We had a plumbing issue one morning and it was resolved before we returned to the cottage that same day. If you have never been to this area of Alabama, you must go! You won’t believe we have these awesome natural wonders. When we go again, we hope to stay at Ritz on the Rocks.

Anniversary in the Ritz on the rock B

Ritz on the rock B was a near perfect getaway for our 28th Anniversary. The decor was perfect to provide a cozy home feel. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars was the mini split HVAC will not keep the inside temp above 62 when it is really cold outside. The view is amazing and Tony was easy to work with. We will be back when it is not 17 degrees with a wind chill of 4 .

We booked for 6 nights and only had 4 towels and when I asked for more it seemed to be a problem the owner called it a hickup. The Ice maker was broken and when I turned the oven on it was dirty from a spill and smoked . My husband has asthma so this was a problem for us

Excellent small cottage for a couple to enjoy a weekend away. Beatiful view on brow. Close to Mentone, Desoto Falls, and other places to vsit. Recommend highly.
