Lazy Bear Cabin will be the place you'll want to come back to again & again with your family & friends! Lots of open space to spread out & enjoy your stay in the mountains. Comfortably sleeps 9 with tons of games, outdoor amenities & just 3.5 miles to downtown Mentone! Downstairs offers a large open living room with wood burning fireplace, fully stocked kitchen with island as well as a dining area. Also downstairs, you’ll find two king bedrooms and two full baths. Upstairs, off the loft, is a Queen bedroom. The loft area is where all the fun is with foosball, ping pong, air hockey, jumbo games, cozy bean bag chairs + a full size bed with twin trundle. But it doesn’t stop there…outside you’ll fall in love with the wooded landscape surrounding Lazy Bear Cabin! Brand new hot tub to soak after a full day of hiking near by DeSoto State Park, Little River Canyon National Preserve or Couldland Canyon State Park! A charcoal grill to throw some burgers or steaks for dinner and a firepit for a s’mores dessert. Lots of porches to enjoy your meal outdoors, sip your favorite drink while listening to the sounds of nature and maybe catch a glimpse of our local deer and turkey!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was extremely clean and.hot. Our weekend was very relaxing and comfortable. The only issue we had was with flies. The more we swatted the more came. We suggest the host provide fly flaps. We will return one day.

Wonderful cabin for a family weekend

We loved the cabin, the property, the hot tub and especially the fire pit. The loft with all the games was great! Lots of amenities so we didn't really need to bring any extras for just a weekend.

Perfect Stay

The cabin was perfect for 5 adults. It was clean and well appointed, with a few very nice extras, like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, nice linens and a variety of KCups. The property was in a good location, close to a couple restaurants but still secluded and quiet.

Great cabin!

The hot tub was easy to operate and had a cool setting for colored lights which was super fun. There’s a spot to have a picnic on the back porch with two comfy rocking chairs and there’s also an awesome firepit. We utilized both of these and had so much fun. The only issue we had was that some of the wood on one of the stairs was really soft and gave way when I stepped on it but that just happens sometimes when wood is exposed to the elements over time. Overall, really great cabin with tons of fun amenities :)

Wonderful Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin! We loved it so much, we called to book an additional night. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the beds were really comfortable! Mentone is a sweet town! Quiet and relaxing!! We plan to be back for another visit!

The Lazy Bear Cabin was an excellent spot for our family Thanksgiving vacation! We enjoyed a shopping trip to Chattanooga, a hike at Desoto State Park and viewing Desoto Falls. The cabin has lots of games, cookware and dishes. It is in a nice wooded, quiet location. Very peaceful!

Lazy Bear getaway

No one told how great the house was so that each group (we traveled separately) could get the WOW factor as they walked through the door. Super cute black bear theme throughout the house. Young and old enjoyed the hot tub, fooseball, and air hockey. We also enjoyed separate nearby interest such as hiking, zip line, shopping and antiqueing. A very memorable family getawawy.

This property was perfect for our group of vintage pickers from Louisiana! The property was nice and clean. Everything worked perfectly!! Lazy Bear

Lazy Bear was truly awesome. The beds were comfy, the property was in a quiet location, the hot tub was relaxing, and everything was very clean. I definitely recommend staying here. If you decide to stay, go to The Hatter tea shop just down the road.

Beautiful Getaway

Stay was great, cabin beautiful, bedroom upstairs doesn’t have vents so it does get warmer upstairs. They did provide a box fan:). Hot tub fits 3 people comfortably. I would come back:)
