Joanna was one of the best hosts we've ever worked with. Excellent communication, quick to answer any questions and quite helpful. The cabin is just as pictured and we loved it. A peaceful retreat in the middle of a beautiful hillside. Loved that the kitchen had the basics to male our stay easy and relaxing. Our kiddos thought the welcome goodies were the best ever!!

Our host was wonderful and easy to communicate with! Instructions on everything were very clear and the cabin was nice and quiet. It was a great retreat for our anniversary trip. The fireplace was our favorite as it made the living room very cozy!

Beautiful little cabin with, very secluded, and perfect distance from all the hiking spots. I was impressed with how well stocked it was with essentials. We also saw deer twice as we were coming down the road.

Desoto State park

Cabin was perfect for week or weekend stay. The host left snacks for us which was nice. She also had dog bowls for our pet. Cabin was very clean and just minutes from Desoto State Park. I will come back again.

Cabin in Mentone

Great place to stay with your spouse and a furry friend. Super close to hiking trails at DeSoto and only a short drive to Cloudland Canyon for great hiking. And just a few minutes drive to downtown Mentone for cute shopping and great local food.

The cabin was very nice, off the road so it was quiet there. I enjoyed staying there, I would highly recommend this cabin. I didn’t go upstairs but I think there were two or three beds there. The cabin was clean, I slept well, the host gave excellent information The outside lights were on when I arrived Thursday night. I will try to stay there again.

So peaceful, perfect weekend getaway!

Our family recently moved to Alabama and have been excited to explore the State Parks. This cabin is so close to Desoto State Park and Desoto Falls! Perfect to do some hiking during the day and relax in the quiet mountains at night. We visited Fort Payne as well. There is a lot to see within a short distance of the cabin, which was perfect to keep impatient kids/teens entertained! My husband and I enjoyed the porch with coffee and a sunrise. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunset views and the fire at night. our children loved playing on the porch and exploring the property. We will certainly be suggesting this cabin to family who visit us all the way from Minnesota!
