Welcome to our bright, relaxing home conveniently near Stanford. 3 BR, 2 BA, a spacious living area, a formal dining area, and a bonus work area, perfect for working from home. The kitchen comes with all the appliances and kitchenware you need. There is also a spacious backyard and a grill for you to enjoy.

Near to VMWare, Tesla, and the VA. Highway 280 is about 5 minutes.

The Space:

We may schedule some property showings during your visit for prospective longer-term tenants. We will always give you at least 24 hours' notice, one of our staff will always be there during the showings (which will never be longer than 10 minutes), and you are welcome to either be there or not be there during the showings. We will bunch up the showings as much as possible, and we estimate 2 showings per week, though it could be more. By booking this home, you acknowledge you are ok with this.

Welcome to our beautiful, bright, and spacious Menlo Park home! This lovely home is the perfect retreat for families, business travelers, or anyone looking to explore the exciting Menlo Park/Palo Alto area. With 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 clean bathrooms, and a bonus room that can double as an office, there is plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind.

The location couldn't be more perfect. Our home is right off Alameda de Las Pulgas, near Santa Cruz Ave and Sand Hill Road, making it convenient for business travelers and students visiting nearby Stanford University, Stanford Hospital, and other local companies such as SAP, VMWare, Tesla, Nest, and the VA. Venture out to explore the charming downtown Menlo Park and Palo Alto, both within easy reach of our home, which are filled with unique shops and delicious restaurants. The Stanford Shopping Center is also nearby for your shopping needs.

Our home offers a fully equipped kitchen, complete with dishware, appliances, and everything you need to cook a delicious meal. Enjoy the lovely back yard, perfect for relaxing or outdoor activities. Our guests appreciate the convenience of not being charged a cleaning fee and having no check-out chores. Simply put the keys away and enjoy your stay until the very end.

** Note for guests staying October 12, 13, 14, 15, 25, 26, or 27: We're looking for long-term tenants and will be doing occasional 5-minute showings on a few of those days. The showings will typically be around 6pm, we'll always give you 24 hours' notice, and one of our staff will always be there to do the showing. **

The Neighborhood:
West Menlo Park is a classic neighborhood, filled with a mix of old and new homes of all sizes. Half a block from the home is Alameda de las Pulgas, a main artery. Several blocks away is the border with neighboring Atherton. Sand Hill Road is a few minutes' drive, and Stanford University, Stanford Hospital, and Stanford Shopping Center are only a few minutes further.

Getting Around:
While there is a bus line that runs on Alameda de las Pulgas, public transit in this area isn't great, so you'll definitely need a car, or use Uber or Lyft.

Other Things to Note:
Note that the back of the house has two stories, and on the second story there is a second rental unit. It's a one-bedroom apartment with a full-time tenant. By the lease, the tenant is not allowed to use the back yard, so that's all yours. The tenant enters the property via the side yard to the left of the home, and you'll rarely have any interaction or even notice the tenant.

Quiet and safe neighborhood. Clean house. Close to Stanford and restaurants. Perfect communication from the host. Only issue was the listing said no cleaning fee but VRBO charged me a cleaning fee. After booking you find out that there is an attached unit that is occupied. Not a big deal as the person is quiet. The adjacent neighbor seems to have a bedroom above the master bedroom. If you are an ultra light sleeper, it could wake you when they move around, but it really is very quiet. Anyone used to apartment living would think it is totally silent. Loved how simple check out is, they don’t ask you to do a bunch of chores like most VRBO hosts. Literally, look the door and go. I would definitely would rent here again and recommend it.
