Amazing location and a beautiful place
We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and as described. Beds were comfortable. The living room sat us all comfortably (family of 4). And the outside areas are wonderful, just wish we had more time on them! Location was amazing! There is a bit of a hill returning to the apartment but it was easy to navigate for us. The kitchen is bare bones and could do with a few amenities (salt and pepper would be a good start). It wasn’t easy to make even a simple meal on our first night (we arrived rather late that evening). But this was a minor inconvenience considering the view we woke up to the next morning. Check in was easy that night and the company made special accommodations to get us in late. Building up to our arrival however, was rather stressful and annoying. Of course there is a language barrier and a time difference but communication was complicated. Multiple platforms were used as well as multiple contact points, giving the overall experience a pretty sour taste. Short term rental rules are changing and this may have been the cause but additional restrictions and fees were being applied by the company as we approached our arrival date that had not been on the listing initially. In the end they were accommodating without additional fees but it wasn’t as smooth as it should have been. Overall we loved the location but not sure I’d work with the third party agency again.
