Cedar Point Cottage- Perfect Lake Michigan Retreat

  • Cedar Point Cottage. Enjoy Michigan at it's best. Beautiful seclusion year around, enjoy nature and gorgeous Lake Michigan. Convenient, yet secluded, this three-bed room, two bath salt box cottage sits at the tip of Cedar Point. Right on Ridge Road, only a small wood lot separates you from the park staircase leading you down to 800 feet of private association Lake Michigan beach and to fabulous Lake Michigan sunsets. Built in 2003, the cottage has a stone fire place, and a large deck across the back that overlooks the wood lot and park, both of which buffer you from the neighbors. A bedroom that can sleep up to four is downstairs, as is one of the two bathrooms. Upstairs, an open loft sleeps two, and the upstairs bath, which separates the loft from the master bedroom, is accessible from both. A washer, dryer, ping pong, and foosball table greets you in the basement. Flat-screen TV's in the Livingroom and basement, along with wireless internet are also popular features!

The Best Place

The house was so welcoming from the minute we opened the front door. The amenities were great, the beds were comfy, and the set up was wonderful. It was a great place for family times, talking, playing board games, and it was near to great activities. A bonus was seeing Lake Michigan go wild - the weather was snowy and high winds and the lake was alive!

We loved the cottage.  It was a very nice setup with all the little things attended to, making the whole week very comfortable. Everyone in the family raved about it including the dogs ;) The location was fantastic, in the woods, a few minute walk to/from the beach.

This cottage was so clean and comfortable, even better than described. The hosts made us feel at home with everything they provided. The beach was breathtaking and peaceful. We will definitely be staying here again!

Family Vacation

We had ages ranging from 90years to 8 months old. Perfect place to cook our meals together and spend the day on the beach! Loved the deck for grilling! Would love to visit again!

Lake Michigan Cottage

My family and I enjoyed our stay and we plan on returning to the same property later in the year! Very satisfied. We loved the cleanliness, short walk to the beach, table tennis and foosball, indoor fireplace, and the short drive to Pentwater.

Memorial Weekend Stay

Home was close enough to walk to the Lake. We were out in the country, but close enough to towns and other activities. Communication with owner was great. The Welcome book was very helpful and easy to read, along with favorite local spots to visit!

Beach was awesome!

This was a super cool home that was well stocked with useful amenities and very clean. Our family loved the close proximity to the beach and dunes. We will definitely be back next summer.

Wonderful experience

We came north to escape the heat and we did heat index in West Tn was 104 while we enjoyed 70 degree weather Pentwater looks like a scene out of a HalMark movie. Very friendly people also. Great Eacape and wonderful vacation

Very awesome place to stay,very clean cottage! Beach is a very short walk down some stairs,very good cardio! We will hopefully be back next year for sure.Very close to any stores that have what you need and lots of activities for the kids..We loved it!!!!!!!

We had a great short weekend!

Very clean, the house was exactly as pictured, hosts had quick communication and allowed us a late check out. The walk to the beach is a short distance away with beautiful new stairs. This home was exactly what we needed for a short getaway! Would love to return during the summer!

Much needed peace

We had the most wonderful time at Cedar Point cottage. My kids and I needed a getaway after the death of my husband and my father within 3 months of each other and this cottage did the trick. The owners were very quick with responses to my questions, and the cottage had every amenity we needed and then some. We loved the location to both Pentwater and Silver Lake, and the beach was absolutely beautiful and so close!! Thank you for bringing some peace to my family. We will stay again!

Outstanding Location!

This was our 2nd year at this house and we loved it as much as the 1st time. It is well stocked, has a great fireplace with plenty for of wood, easy drive to the dunes, Pentwater and Ludington. This is a beautiful property in a perfect location. It was stocked with anything you could possibly need. We did have to contact the owners for a minor issue and it was resolved immediately. We had a wonderful time and were already planning when we could come back while we were still there!

Wonderful weekend away

This was such a great cottage to stay in. We have absolutely everything we needed to enjoy a beach weekend away. They had an air compressor for blowing up rafts, beAch toys, chairs, towels everything! There were little farms selling fresh produce near by. The beach was beautiful. It was a perfect time. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Lake Michigan Autumn Getaway

Lovely large cottage with fireplace. We came back to the Pentwater - Mears area to relive some old camping memories. This place did not disappoint. Fully stocked kitchen, beautiful yard and only 30 seconds from the crashing waves of Lake Michigan. Owner was a super communicator. Day trips to Pentwater, Ludington, Montague, Whitehall, Shelby and Hart made for a winning weekend!
