Great Beach Spot
This is the perfect spot to get away. Rustic with some mid-century touches, this cottage is perched on a hillside overlooking Lake Michigan. There’s a pathway through the forest down to the water. Although I wouldn’t venture too far off the path, there can be a decent amount of ticks in those types of areas.
The house itself has a nice layout that feels spacious, even when it has eight people! The kitchen, living room, dining room, and porch give you plenty of indoor area to move around through. And the yard is large and open, sporting a nice fire pit and charcoal grill. There is one decently-sized restroom with a shower located outside (it’s still completely enclosed, just only accessible from outside).
Overall this is a great spot for a family vacation! It easily fit eight people and provides some incredible views. It’s definitely a little more rustic than some luxury lake houses, but entirely worth the trip and the price!
