"I booked this hotel because it wasn’t too terribly expensive and the pet fee was great. However, I wouldn’t say this hotel is really “pet friendly.” The pet area has no grass and is all dirt and right on top of a hill. "Our room was on the third floor on the rear of the building it was very quiet We had a great suprise on our last night when a herd of goats including kids came climbing down the hill and then later when back up the steep hill Restaurant was excellent we took advantage of of the June special 16oz T-bone steak $12.95 Service was good"

"This hotel is amazing. I love the old building mixed in with new amenities. You do have to park about 3 blocks away in a ramp, but, for the location it was worth it. Casino and Gift Shop located very close to the front desk. The one thing I wish was explained better was if the products in the fridges near the front desk were for guests to take....like coffees, waters, etc... being there isn't a breakfast/restaurant on property we thought maybe there were for the taking but weren't sure. ...
