And the best part is the backdrop of a spectacular view of Deep Creek Lake and McHenry. This home is has it all, including numerous smart TVs, WiFi, and Sunday Ticket! Location is everything! Just a short drive away is all the amenities and activities Wisp Ski Resort offers, lake access, the famous whitewater course, and Deep Creek Highlands’ community tennis courts, playground, and pavilion. This home is located above the ski slopes inside a gated community with private roads perfect for walking, running, and biking. Deep Creek Vista is the Vacation Home You have been Searching For!

The subject of this email will start with "URGENT: Complete Your Booking For"... and may be in your Promotional/Marketing folders depending on your email provider and settings.

TOILETRIES & PAPER PRODUCTS: Bed linens and bath towels provided w/rental. No soaps, toiletries, paper products, trash bags, etc. will be provided with the exception of a welcome bag including a few starter items. Please pack accordingly.

NOTE: A copy of the contract holder's Photo ID, a signed contract, and a list of your full travel party (names/ages of all attending) will be required to complete your booking. If booking last minute, you may be required to stop by our main office to show your photo ID and the credit card used on the reservation. This policy is in place to help combat fraudulent activity that is more likely to occur in last-minute arrivals.

We have been staying at Wisp over MLK weekend for 11 years and this is the first time we have ever been disappointed with a house we booked. Issues included:•Hot tub was not only off, but half full and water 62 degrees. This tells me it wasn’t checked or filled for weeks before we checked in. We couldn’t use it for the first 24 hours we were there.•The house advertised having a grill. We planned on grilling the night we checked in. There was no propane in the tank and we were told by Railey we could “refill it ourselves and get reimbursed”. Not at 8:00 PM we couldn’t and also, that’s not what I paid for. I paid for a house with a grill ready to go when we checked in.•The ice maker in the kitchen was moldy and broken.•The fridge downstairs was broken.•The master bedroom mattress is literally broken in two places and horrible to sleep on.•The other bedrooms were advertised as queen beds; they are not. They are full size.•When we went to move the area rugs in the kitchen to vacuum, piles of sand fell out onto the floor, again suggesting they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, maybe even months.While I know on occasion things in rental properties can go wrong, the sheer number of items is just not acceptable.

Great House. . . BUT

House was great! The description talked about the community pool and did say that only 6 people per household could use it at a time, which is reasonable. BUT, we received this message in an email shortly before our visit and I think people need to know this is the policy: “Community amenities include Basketball Court, Covered Pavilion, Fire Pit Area, Playground, Tennis, and the Seasonal Outdoor Pool. All of these community amenities only permit up to 6 guests from your party within a 24 hour period. (ex. if you have 14 guests within your party, only 6 are permitted to use any combination of the amenities within a 24 hour period). A $100/person fine will be charged, at the expense of the contract holder, per each person over 6 found using these amenities within the 24 hour period.”

Great House!!

Wonderful house with great views from every room. The dining room chairs need to be repaired or replaced and the exterior could us some TLC, but other than that it was wonderful. The house was large enough that our group could spread out and not all be crammed into one living area.

Deep Creek with Friends

We had an amazing experience. We had a great day on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat. Only disappointment was the community pool was closed. We were notified about that until a week before. Also we could not use the grill because it needs new burners and the kitchen chairs are shaky. Other than those couple of things it was a great trip.

Great location, but house needs work

The hot tub and deck with brand new teak furniture were great, but unfortunately, there were some issues inside. The trash can was broken and there were cobwebs and dirt in several rooms. Also, the dining chairs were collapsing in the seat and shower doors in two bathrooms did not close...needs some TLC.

Nice stay

The home was clean and comfortable. The only issues were the one sliding glass door wouldn't lock and the dining room chairs are either broken or too low for the table. We made the best of it! It definitely didn't ruin our stay. Overall it was a perfect home for our family of 12!

The house was spacious and clean, but could use some major updating. The deck was worn and could use paint on the exterior and interior. A lot of the furniture was also worn. Some updates would provide a more comfortable stay.

Getaway for a kid free couples weekend

Hot tub needs a little work-the cover needs replaced, lights didn’t work, and it didn’t get as hot as we wanted. Corn hole bags were missing. However, it’s a beautiful house, very spacious- great for large gatherings. Kitchen was well stocked and it was clean. Would return, we enjoyed our stay!

Most of the furniture in the living room and kitchen is broken, knives had rust on them, utensil draw was so unorganized, hot tub would not get hot. The house was very spacious nonetheless. Everyone in the group slept comfortably.

An excellent place for a skiing trip

We came for a long weekend ski getaway and this place was perfect. It was a short 5-10 minute drive to the slopes and located in a beautiful secluded wooded area. The property was immaculately clean and had ample space for our group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids).

Wonderful weekend getaway

We came up with my siblings and their children for a weekend teaching the kids how to ski. The place was perfect size for all of us to have our privacy and separate space but also be together for games and meals. The view is amazing. We got snow most of the time which made it even more beautiful. It’s two minutes from the top of the resort for skiing and maybe 5 or 6 from the main entrance at the bottom and tubing. We had an amazing time. The only thing I will mention is that the hot tub cover was very waterlogged and the strap was broken. It took two men to get the top off for us to go in yesterday and three people to get it back on. The hot tub itself worked fine though and we still enjoyed it. Overall fantastic. I loved it and would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Fantastic Ski Retreat

Our annual family ski group spent a President's Day Holiday at DCV. The experience and house was fantastic. The house is conveniently located to the top of the hill at Wisp and arrangement of the house (4 en-suite bedrooms) was very convenient for our crew. There was plenty of space upstairs and down for everyone to spread out and have their space. The kitchen was amply stocked with pots, pans, dishware and utensils to accommodate our "kitchen staff" and the meals we prepared. Moreover, the place was immaculately clean. And did I mention that it is only a couple of minutes to the top of Wisp? The next time we come to Wisp, we'll be looking to see if DCV is available.
