The Love Shack

Quaint 12 x 16 room with bathroom and shower. Small frig, microwave, hot plate, Keurig coffee machine, table to dine at. Queen size bed and a place to hang your clothes and hat. Books, Fire Stick and DVD player. Comfortable and relaxing.

A lot to do in the area. We are close to North Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina.
Renew your spirit on a day hiking to local waterfalls or horseback riding on forested trails in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Discover the thrill of an Ocoee River whitewater rafting adventure, ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway or treetop canopy adventure. Rent a pontoon boat, kayak or SUP on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. Pick locally grown fruit at Mercier Orchards, a 65 year old family orchard. Play a round of golf at Old Toccoa Farm, Fannin County’s first and only golf course that fronts 4,000+ feet of the Toccoa River. Catch a trout on the tailwaters of the Toccoa River or a clear mountain stream; Blue Ridge is the Trout Fishing Capital of Georgia.

This “love shack” is amazing. It’s perfect for a single person or couples getaway. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean and well maintained. Very homey feeling and cozy. I highly recommend this place for your next getaway.

Cozy, quiet, close to downtown!

5 stars all around Less than 5 min drive downtown, quiet area- we heard no noise from the surrounding homes, clean space. Communication w/ host was clear and quick! They even brought us up some lights when the town’s power went out. Super friendly and accommodating! If you forget anything, don’t worry about it- because they have literally everything you might have forgotten. Toiletries of all kinds, dishes, paper plates/towels, all the coffee fixings (K cups and tea too), etc! Perfect for a little weekend getaway!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Was soooo Pleasantly surprised at how Wonderful the accommodations were. This was my first, at this type of rental and I was BLOWN away.....Clean/Neat/ALL the amenities, I was not expecting. A really good find

Very clean, amenities are well stocked, the host is readily available if needed. Convenient to McCaysville and Blue Ridge. Also convenient to kayaking and whitewater outfitters and several restaurants, brewpubs, and specialty shops. Murphy, N.C. and Blairsville, Ga. are also relatively close. Good for up to two people and you could prepare small meals if you wanted to. I hope to stay here again.
