The hotel is near a lot of underground shopping and restaurant areas. This can make navigation a bit tricky because it's not always clear if the place you are looking for is street level or below. The room was a decent size, but the beds were much closer that expected. Our room had three beds. There was a small walking space between the two larger beds. The smaller bed was touching a wall on one side and the larger bed on the other. There wasn't a lot of room for luggage, but the bathroom was a reasonable size.

According to Hotels.com this is a 5 star hotel, in our opinion we preferencer the 4 star holtes we had in Japan over this. This hotel has lots of staff and provides services that you don’t really need like a newspaper (in paper) brought to your door every morning, free shuttle bus to the train station and staff to carry your luggage to the room. Breakfast was of good quality, even though it felt overcrowded with staff. On the other hand, rooms are small and the room interior feels quite dated. While all our other hotels in Japan had a free mini-bar you had to pay for everything at this hotel. The worse was that you had to pay a quite high price to use the gym and an additional high fee to use the pool. The pool was for adults only, so our teen daughters were not allowed. All in all quite disappointing.
