"My laptop was stolen by a member of staff. I entrusted my carryon bag to the hotel staff for a 2 hour period and on my return found my laptop missing from the bag. Management said they reviewed the CCTV footage for the 2 hour period and the staff member was the only person entering the room - so that person should be held accountable. I got no compensation and was told to contact the police as my only remedy. In my view, the hotel is not guest friendly. "

"The cottage itself is lovely, and has a lot of potential. It’s a large cottage which accomodates 5. Lighting wasn’t working in all rooms which was a nuisance and the facilities in the kitchen were dirty and not maintained well. Oven and stove worked, coffee machine filthy. Given that you would hire a cottage to do self catering, it wasn’t one of the better cottages we have stayed in. We found it a cold welcoming, no welcome note, only a small box of biscuits on entry. "We booked to stay here 2 nights in June. The day we were to arrive we got a message from the hotel to say that they were undergoing renovations and they would refund us for our breakfast charges and give us a free to-go breakfast one day. Annoying as we have a very picky eater and the buffet is a main reason we booked Premier Inn. When we arrived it took the counter staff ages to check us in as apparently there was something confusing about the booking in the system. She was very nice though. So...

"First impression was very good, however on closer inspection some areas could have been a bit cleaner. The apartment was in an ideal situation but the stairs became a little problematic and the parking was quite difficult to find."
