"I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff don’t return emails answer phones or return phone calls. Check-in ends at 9 PM and if you aren’t there you can’t get into your room. I’ve travelled the world and never in my life had such bad customer service. The Travelodge however has excellent staff clean rooms and comfortable beds. At nearly half the price is an exceptionally better value."

"Fabulous stay. Lovely, spacious, spotless twin room with very clean, modern en suite. Everywhere is extremely clean and very well maintained. Plenty of parking and a fantastic outside area for sunny days. Staff very friendly and helpful. Generous meal portions and absolutely delicious! We joined in the quiz night and were even greeted warmly (and helped!) by the locals. We will definitely be staying again!"

"I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back."

You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. I was moved to a smaller room that did not match what I paid for three people, and my children had to find accommodation elsewhere. The place was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. The kitchen was dirty. I did not even wait for breakfast. I chcked out very early in the morning."

"We loved the individuality of the environment in the hotel with all of the decor in the rooms, especially the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. "Average stay, tv not receiving signal, boiler broke down, although owner came out to fix within a few hours. Very poor welcome pack (small bottle of milk). No logs or kindling for log burner. View from back of cottage spoilt by messy and junk strewn garden. Nice location with good pubs in village that did good food, just check what days they open."

"A warm welcome and comfortable, clean, spacious room. The staff couldn't be more helpful and even though the kitchen was closed because I arrived late they were good enough to offer a plate and cutlery so I could grab a Chinese from the takeaway opposite. Honestly I couldn't have asked for anything better even at twice the price."
