2. Kimsey Run Lake (25 minutes away) offers a great spot for fishing and you’ll often see eagles floating overhead.

Blackwater Falls State Park (70 mins away): Blackwater Falls State Park is named for the amber waters of Blackwater Falls, a 57-foot cascade tinted by the tannic acid of fallen hemlock and red spruce needles.
