Worst stay of my life. 9 nights at this Punta Cana all-inclusive were a disaster. Room was unsanitary and unsafe: beds like concrete causing back pain, housekeeping put stained sheets on daily, found a live cockroach, and had a ceiling leak we think was from the AC. Room was always damp/musty. TV had no sound, took 3-5 days to fix. Near-daily rolling blackouts + a full day of malfunctioning fire alarms. Food was inedible everywhere. Seafood smelled and tasted fishy - not fresh. Room service orders were wrong every time. Sandwiches changed depending on staff. Pools were dirty. Swim-up bar pool was murky with debris floating. Chair hogs force you to claim seats at 6am, then leave towels all day. Beach has zero security - immediately swarmed by vendors selling goods and drugs once you step off property. Waterslide on-site/sister property is dangerous: 6 slides, only 2 staff. I got a severe black back bruise; my friend’s swimsuit was shredded. Clear liability.

Overall, the hotel was not very consistent with the service. Food was a hit or miss, housekeeping was good some days and other days dirty towels off the floor were just placed back to reuse the next day. The sports bar consistently had good food and is open 24 hours! The beach was cleaned consistently every morning, it was cleaned of seaweed nicely every morning and night! On occasion, staff was professional and attentive but majority was not. Brandol Ortega was AMAZING and made up for everything that the hotel lacked, he helped with absolutely everything that our family needed, and made traveling with a group of 12 a breeze! In the end, this hotel hosted us for a memorable family vacation but could also improve in a number of areas.

If you're looking for a lively atmosphere with music, entertainment, and pool parties, this may not be the best hotel for you. The adults-only pool parties are held at a different hotel, and guests are transported there by bus. Unfortunately, it gets extremely crowded, which took away from the experience for us. What wasn't explained before our stay is that many of the activities and music are centered around those off-site pool parties. If you choose to stay at the main resort, the pools are very quiet with little to no entertainment. Guests are also asked not to play their own music, so the atmosphere can feel very dull. If you're expecting a fun, energetic pool scene at the resort itself, you may be disappointed. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated ahead of time so guests could set the right expectations.

None of the restaurants were fully open and the beach was too dirty to enjoy. Check in was a full mess and despite some advances to change the experience it was just a final trip to the DR for us and this resort.
