Our check-in experience was disappointing due to the rude and unfriendly behavior of the front desk employee. There was an issue with our reservation, and instead of offering assistance or even a polite explanation or apology, he was condescending and unhelpful. He also failed to provide basic information about the hotel amenities, such as breakfast times, pool hours, or Wi-Fi access.
Fortunately, the manager was helpful the next day, and after contacting Expedia, the issue was resolved. The rest of the staff we interacted with during our stay were friendly and accommodating.
The hotel itself is older and not particularly clean. Our room had a musty odor, visible stains and drips on the wall, and the TV was covered in smudges, likely from dirty hands, which made us question the overall cleanliness. The shower was in poor condition, and there were very few accessible outlets for charging devices—only in the bathroom or behind furniture where plugs didn’t provide enough power.
On a more positive note, the pool was warm and enjoyable, and there was a nice gathering area with games for families and friends. We also liked the on-site bar and restaurant, which had a pleasant atmosphere.
