Tucked into the serene woods, our cabin offers stunning long-range mountain views from the expansive deck, where you can unwind in the hot tub after a day of adventure or gather around the outdoor fire pit for s'mores and stories under the stars.
    This isn't just a place to stay; it's a sanctuary where you can truly disconnect and immerse yourself in nature's beauty. Inside, you'll find high-quality linens and towels, and each of the three master bedrooms features a large TV for your comfort and entertainment. The living area is centered around a cozy gas fireplace, perfect for a relaxing evening in. Our kitchen is well-stocked for your convenience, complete with a selection of spices for you to use when preparing your favorite meals. If you're a golfer, you'll be thrilled to know we are close to some of the best mountain golf courses in the area. While the peaceful serenity may tempt you to stay put, you're only about 35 minutes from the vibrant city of Asheville, renowned for its incredible microbrewery scene. You're also just 45 minutes from historic Johnson City, Tennessee, which both offer world-class restaurants, unique shops, and a thriving music scene. You can also explore charming nearby towns like Weaverville, West Asheville, and Mars Hill, the closest town for groceries and dining.

    Our guests are invited to enjoy the full range of amenities at the Village Club from May 1st to October 31st, including a pool, pickleball and tennis courts, and fitness classes like yoga and Tai Chi.     But what truly sets our cabin apart is our commitment to your comfort and peace of mind. As your hosts, we are available to help with anything you need. We've gone the extra mile for our guests, from helping with driveway access in the snow and fixing a pilot light in the fireplace, to providing a jump start for a car or even delivering forgotten items. Our goal is to ensure you feel supported and cared for, so you can relax and fully enjoy your mountain getaway.

This was the perfect get-away for us. Lovely accommodations, everything you could ever need. Host/owner was very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this cabin, and we'll definitely stay again if we're heading back to the Asheville area.

Cozy and clean place to stay for a mountain getaway. We couldn’t get over the sunset view! Beds were really comfortable and the hot tub was very nice. Great communication and lots of activities to do!

Absolutely perfect stay! The home is exceptionally beautiful and well stocked. This is by far the nicest rental home we have ever stayed in. 100% recommend this home. We are already planning a return trip.

Amazing home! All the details and ambiance were so lovely. The kitchen was completely stocked and all the amenities were high quality - including spa robes for the hot tub, comfy bedding and a beautiful propane fire table overlooking the valley from the deck. We created beautiful memories with our family and dogs, celebrating our anniversary in this home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Get-Away Mountain Cabin. Although the trip up the mountain is only for the more adventurous, the view was nothing short of spectacular. It was like a beautifully painted picture. The cabin itself had everything that you need to enjoy your stay and it is all well marked. Just be sure that you are driving a 4WD or AWD vehicle to enjoy the drive.

Great winter get away

The house was very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We had a great time hanging out in the hot tub, playing pool, foosball and ping pong. We visited nearby Asheville and enjoyed some great food and shopping.

Great location for families looking to ski!

This property was great. Wonderful views and lots of amenities for kids! Perfect place to stay if you’re looking to ski at Hatley Pointe which is just a short 5 - 10 minutes down the mountain. Both the owner and property manager were extremely responsive. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The kitchen was so well-labeled and organized that it felt like home right away. The bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of fun activities—from the hot tub to ping pong—to make our stay even more enjoyable. The location offers an amazing, forever view that we’ll never forget. The host was very responsive to any questions we had, always replying quickly and helpfully. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely be recommending this property to our friends and family!

Our stay was great! house was beautiful! I would say, the only thing you need to know is that this home is a the top of a mountain( if your visiting from florida this could be interesting haha) . This is also in a gated community with two separate entrances. We arrived at 1030 at night at the wrong entrance, there was no one there and no phone service, thankfully someone answered the security gate phone to let us in. I would just look at where your gps is taking you! I didnt see any reviews talking about this so i felt like it was a worthy comment. The house was great! lots of room! very close to the ski resort!

Welcome Fall Weather

By far the best supplied VRBO that we have ever stayed in! Kids loved the hot tub, pool table and ping pong. Great bedrooms and the view was incredible. Got to see the start of the fall colors too! Would highly recommend!

Great rental!

We had an amazing stay. I spent a week there- a couple days with friends and a few days with my husband and 2 dogs and it was perfect for both. Great hiking in the community; easy day trip to Asheville; best stocked kitchen I've ever had at a rental. No better way to spend a cool summer morning than on that porch...and the sunsets! We hope to be back.
