The location in the medina was great for exploring the souks and some of the attractions nearby like Koutoubia mosque and Jemaa El-Fnaa square that is always bustling with shops and street performers. "We stayed 2 nights with Riad Tahyra.
Service was the best!
We had a day tour and we needed to leave early. The night before, we asked Ayoub if we could get some food to take with us but he prepared us breakfast (nonstandard but has all the essentials - boiled egg, orange juice, honey, jam and warm bread).
Our flight was in the evening. After check out, Sahim let us stay at their reception. They also safekept our luggage while we went out to have lunch.

"The riad is very clean, well organized.
The owner made sure that the room meets the expectations of the customer.
The first day the staff and owner welcomed us with tea and cookies served in a beautifully decorated salon. We felt like home. The room was exceptionally decorated.
The staff was very kind. The breakfast was served on time and it was delicious.

"I had the most amazing stay at the Riad, I’ve travelled a lot around the world and they treated me like family from ensuring I get to the Riad at 4am safely to providing late breakfast to late checkout. Such warm and welcoming service, and location is prime right in the middle of it all and walking distance. The bed was very comfy and haven’t like slept like that in a long time. I will be for sure returning, looking forward to returning in the future. "

"I would actually give it 4.5 out of 10 but on balance 4 felt maybe over blown.
It’s a beautiful Riad and is charming for a short term stay if you’re bored of regular hotels. The rooms aren’t the most soundproof but that comes with the territory of boutique hotels like Mellah.
I would defiantly recommend booking a taxi via the hotel, as it’s not the easiest place to find! However, the location is great within the city walls.
